Definitely The Breaker and Akumetsu. For a more light hearted theme you can try Kurohime, but I really endorse Akumetsu and The Breaker, I've been following both for over 1 1/2 years now and I frequently read all the chapters.

They are not, Akumetsu is a political seinen manga that revolves about a guy who has aquired the "power" to reproduce clones of himself and he uses them to engage into political assassinations to avenge his friends. It's a quite awesome story and the main character is awesome, but it's nothing like The Breaker. And it's emberassing to say that I actually cried in most of the chapters after +90.
Otherwise Veritas might interrest you if you are into martial arts, but it doesn't feature a Teacher-Student relationship like The Breaker does. It's only the first few chapters until the teacher dies, and unlike The Breaker, the main protagonist is a very arrogant and blunt person who wants to beat everyones ass.
And well, Kurohime, that's entirely different but features a tear breaking story. Which makes it interresting for me.

I second the breaker(Breaker, The) and one piece those are infact awesome.
Some others I have read or read now and enjoy
-Naruto
-Gamaran
but also depends what kind of manga you like. Like the genre action/sports/ecchi etc.
I have read so many mangas that it is hard to keep track lol.
I enjoy reading sport mangas ( it can be any sport at all)
Current sport mangas im reading are
-Ace of Diamond
-Fantasista
-Area no kishi
all of them have great stories
