007 First Light is offering a one-hour trial to select PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers (and the Deluxe tier) as a sample of the year's standout Bond-era action-stealth game from IO Interactive. The trial grants access to the prologue and a portion of Bond's training sequences, letting players gauge the game's pace and feel before purchase.

During the trial, players can run the prologue and early training sequences, which showcase the game's gadgets, stealth pacing, and combat feel. If you decide to buy, the full game is discounted by about 40%, bringing the price to roughly $42.

The title has sold over 4 million copies by August 2026 and has received free post-launch updates. A new story DLC is planned before the end of the year to expand the narrative.

Looking ahead, Nintendo Switch 2 owners will get a version of the game, with a port planned for March 2027. This, along with ongoing updates, could extend the title's momentum into the 2027 holiday season.
