There's no escape from Battle.net
Diablo 4 will join the Game Pass games tomorrow, March 28, and Game Pass subscribers will be able to start their Diablo 4 adventures without paying an additional fee.
However, it is not enough to have a Game Pass to play Diablo 4; you will also need to install Blizzard's digital distribution service Battle.net, otherwise you will not be able to play the game.
The steps required to play Diablo 4 on Game Pass are listed as follows:- Open the Xbox App on your PC and sign in with the Microsoft account linked to your Game Pass subscription. Click on Diablo 4 and then click on the Install button.
- Click "Install Battle.net" when prompted and complete the installation. If Battle.net is already installed, this step will be skipped automatically.
- You will be asked to link your Battle.net account with your Microsoft account. If you have a Battle.net account, you can complete the linking process by logging in to that account, otherwise you will need to open a Battle.net account first.
- If you have installed Battle.net and linked the accounts, you can now complete the Diablo 4 installation.
Diablo 4 will most likely be followed by other Activision Blizzard games, but probably the most anticipated game to come to Game Pass will be added tomorrow.
