With the upcoming DLC "Night Operations", game developer Digital Illusions CE (DICE) and publisher Electronic Arts (EA) want to breathe new life into "Battlefield 4", which was published in late 2013. The new content will concern the multiplayer game mode and enrich it with several innovations. These include, according to statements by DICE, Netcode improvement, weapon optimization and also the integration of a new team balancer for public accessible servers.


If you take a look at the new map, the actual subject of this extension will be clear. It's about a night version of "Zavod 311", an already known map in Battlefield 4. The new map is called "Zavod: Graveyard Shift" and dark. Players will be able to destroy lamps, headlights and further sources of light in order to turn the dark map into a truestealth adventure. In the course of this, the developers have made changes to the sound system and adjusted it accordingly. The new map will include following modes: Conquest, Rush, Team Deathmatch, Obliteration, Domination and also Gun Master. The last one of them even includes a special weapon set.
