Angry Birds is the mobile game that has one of highest download counts ever reached, a total of around one billion downloads from different app stores. Even though game had a fair number of updates and spinoffs, now it is time for Rovio to offer a real sequel.
The original Angry Birds was about launching birds into towers and destroying pigs. Standard birds will be present as the poster shows. No new objects were noticed but it's not enough to decide whether there will be something new or not from this first announcement.
This poster came on 15 July assuring a “bigger, badder, birdier” game.

Details about Angry Birds 2 are not revealed yet. Gratefully, we won't wait for long as more information are coming on 28 July in San Francisco. No further details about the exact location nor the time were mentioned. Definitely, they will inform us with the details soon knowing it's only 10 days till the awaited day.
The game will be in app stores on 30 July as Rovio's official website states. The short gap between the San Francisco event and the game release dates confirms that Angry Birds 2 is ready and probably the development phase was finished some time ago.
