With regard to this year's Gamescom in Cologne, which will be held from August 21st to August 23rd, the publisher Square Enix and developer Eidos Montreal presented a trailer concerning the stealth title "Thief" which is a reboot of the same-named previously released computer games.
Furthermore, we get to know the official date of release for the European countries. Thus, you can play "Thief" first on February 28th 2014; the game will be released for Playstation 3/4, XBox 360 and XBox One as well as for PC.
The trailer shows you first steps into the story which is about the master thief Garret, whose voice we can hear first in the video.
The plot is about a city whose inhabitants are being suppressed by baron Northcrest and only receive support by Orion who is "the people's voice".
Not only do violent sovereigns damage the metropolis but also cause serious diseases. Garret's role though is quite unknown in this scene.
Eidos Montreal describe the game "Thief" as a first-person adventure "with intelligent Design, in which the player takes over control and can decide how he completes the challenges throughout the game".
