
Razer has gone the extra mile and surprised everyone at the CES with its first
Razer Edge tablet, which is, basically, the follow-up of their
Project Fiona (announced in 2012), running Windows 8 and promising the be the beginning of a new era for gamers...through their tablets.
As claimed by Razer, this tablet is
"The most powerful tablet in the world"
This tablet uses a 10.1" multi-touch screen. Running on an Intel Core i5 (or Core i7 depending on the model -Standard or Pro-), with an Nvidia GT640M LE GPU (1366x768), Bluetooth and a USB 3.0 port.
For memory, the Standard model will feature 4GB DDR3 RAM, while the Pro model will have the double (8GB). If we talk about storage, we will find 64GB and 128GB according to the model of the Edge.
With all this technology, it has been also promised that players will be able to run their favorite games with a good fps rate, as they mentioned, it will be possible to play Dishonored at 59 fps.
As well, the Edge supports 2 controllers and with its HDMI output, users will be able to display graphics in their TVs.
The prices for these tablets are $999 for the Standard model, while the Pro model will cost $1,299.
