This product was shown for the first time in 2012, and its developers have promised that this device will entirely change and improve the way in which we all control the interface of our computer, as well as the way in which we play videogames on it.
The
Leap Motion is a Kinect-like device, yet it has been said that it is 200 times faster than
Microsoft's Kinect and it is scheduled to be released to the public during this year, to work with
ASUS PCs running Windows 8.
"Its 3-D motion control technology offers incredible precision, sensing movements to "1/100th millimeter smaller than the tip of a pin" from all 10 fingers simultaneously at 290 frames-per-second within a 150-degree field of view."
