ide like to know more about changing entire instances, say for instance renaming the emerald dream or old hillsbrad or the black morass , into an accesible instance like the deadmines. ive tried extracting the emerald dream and renaming it to all the deadmines names instead of emerald dream, however when i zone into the deadmines i fall and die at the bottom. theres no land. there is stuff above me though (i think, which might be the emerald dream). anyone know what i did wrong?
my directory looks something like C:\World of warcraft\Data\World\Maps\Deadm inesInstance\
in deadminesinstance folder is where i placed all the files from the original emerald dream folder but i renamed all teh emerald dreams into DeadmineInstance.
the mpq i extracted everything from was the terrain mpq.
