Mages are one of the hardest classes to make an automated rotation for and HyperElk is no different from other rotation bots.

It works amazing for melee dps classes but if youre playing a mage, i would suggest to try other rotation bots.

I am currently still trying different rotation bots for mages atm. But i can confidently say that HyperElks rotation for frost and fire mages are very very far from being optimized.

I saw a person on their discord suggesting stuffs for frost mages but i dont think its even being worked on.

So if youre playing frost mage, buy this at your own risk.

Mage is indeed one of the difficult class, from experience, I always suggest people to avoid caster on non unlocker bot.
The suggestions given by the members on discord are actually being implemented as we speak, we just dont release untested rotations so it take time to add them.

Both rotations are still parsing at 80/85 % parse which is quite high for a mage rotation on a pixel based CB but I can understand your frustration when other class are parsing 95/100%.

Hey thanks man! Was wondering if you can post it here when it is updated? I unsubbed from elk and lost access on discord. I would resub again once the rotation for frost is updated like the toggles for ice lance and such. I think the person suggesting the additions makes sense.

I like your easy to use program but its a massive dps loss in m+ atm so i unsubbed while its not yet updated. Will love to try it again though when its doing the proper rotation

Hi, yes we are clear about it, the tbc rotations available are the one supported today, we dont plan to spend any more time in tbc, we will however fully support woltk which is finally an extention with proper simc and no more various spell ranks.

btw the frost mage has been fully reworked and we are now seeing good parse on it.

Okay can someone in charge please help me with getting back onto the Discord server? I have no idea why I cannot get access. HyperElk may be one of the last best rotation helpers out there for WoW.

If I can't get access, then I might as well not play WoW at all.

This is a good product but I wouldn't say its great. I give it a 7.5/10. It has some bugs or maybe they are design choices that keep it from being truly great. Things that are annoying to me:

1. So the program Auto Keybinds which is pretty great because it minimizes setup...however it completely over writes YOUR keybinds. So things like autorun/mount up, etc. get completly overwritten. Have some spells you may want to use because the Combat Routine wont? Good chance they are getting overwritten too. Have multiple characters you want to play? Yikes the keybinds are completely different between characters (i.e. not in the same spot/key). This is honestly a very big issue IMO. At the very least it would be nice if you could specify certain binds you have set within the program and it would work around those (i.e. mount/autorun, healthstone, etc.)

2. It is randomly hitting key combinations it shouldn't. For example it keeps turning my sound off by hitting CTRL+S. At first i thought it was me hitting CTRL on accident but nope nothing is bound to the S key. It also turned off sound randomly when I didnt even have my hand on my keyboard because i was grabbing a drink. You can unbind the key...but because it resets your keybinds every time you have to constant unbind it.

3. The rotations are great and will pump out serious DPS and healing but there is still definitely room for improvement. I don't even really count this against Hyper Elk but hope they continue to optimize the rotations over time.

Thanks for the feebdack.
Do you know we still have an option that allow you to bind manually? in that case you keep all your binds !!
we decided that being plug and play was more important, we really tried to select keys that are not used by most players.
The keys used by elk are actually listed on discord. most of your keyboard wont be used and it allows you to keep your own key for thing like mount

Happy to clarify with you on discord on to get them.
