I partially disagree.
Yes - the dynamic and the "chunky" movement were a big part of WarRock, BUT the maps are still iconic and very well thought through in terms of level design. At least most of them.
As I already mentioned before, there will be a lot of people against WarRock2, as nothing can beat nostalgia. But do we need a replacement for WarRock? We can also accept it as what it is, something new, something refreshing.

After watching the videos (thanks again to albaleil1), I contacted one of the developers on LinkedIn and asked him about it. Here’s his response:

The video you reviewed shows the development status from a few years ago. It was used for testing related to Steam and ESD. Since the current development status may be quite different, the video will be made private.

Additionally, they mentioned that no release date is being communicated at this time. Once Alpha tests are planned, they will gladly reach out to the community.
