[Info] Changes to the Server Structure
Troopers,
I am very excited to announce changes to our server structure which will be implemented on April 16 to improve your gameplay experience.
Let me preface this by pointing out that the lags you have been experiencing lately are not related to a lack of proper server hardware or anything related to that. We have been working hard over the last few weeks to investigate these issues and would like to present a part of these changes to you today.
Currently, players directly connect to each other when playing. That means that your game experience is heavily affected by the connection speeds of other players.
From April 16 on, this will be changed so that you connect directly to our servers and they manage the connections for you. This means the following things for you:
- The ping shown to you is now your ping and the other players’ pings to the server instead of your ping to the other players.
- On average, your gameplay experience in terms of lag should improve.
Now, we know that there will be criticism regarding this change and that is why your feedback is very important to us. On April 16, after the maintenance, we will open a poll for you where you can let us know whether the situation has improved or worsened for you. Should it improve, that’s great. Should it get worse, we will have to change things. Should it stay the same, we will also have to look into how we can further improve your experience.
This change should be very noticeable for all of you. Especially players with weaker connections will benefit from this, thereby also improving the experience of all other players. During our internal tests, a decrease in overall delay was very noticeable. But, as I pointed out above, your feedback will be very important for us.
We are looking forward to this change and hope that your experience will be improved by this.

finaly DE is moving their ass, now they can patch all function like no fall damage or superjump xD by checking it from their servers etc etc :P enjoy all!
and they can check for any packet sent to their servers if packet is not request by client = not works!
Exactly same as combat arms!
