we miss the days of 2005~2009 when we used to sleep and wake up just to get on the computer, most of our joy was leveling up the wolf and watching it grow, then riding the horse just to flex on my friend who didn’t have one

we’d spend the whole day at the cyber during events, all of us—friends and kids from the same hood—playing on the same server, and our biggest dream was to have an account with the nuker skill that drops from the sky, pointing at it when it falls on mobs and getting super hyped

we’d wait for tuesday, book our pcs from 8am just to finish the update fast and get into the server, because the whole week we were just suffering and waiting

honestly, that was the best time we ever had together on sro...

then came the dark side of sro... ever since private server owners showed up, most of them only cared about quick cash, one week and they disappear, greed and shady stuff became the norm

so my advice to everyone: if you see a no-deal server, hold on to it tight, give it your full support, and i swear srotime with 0 deals is different. old is gold, and i really hope we get to see those old vibes again in srotime

I completely agree with everything @ just said. The memories of grinding iSRO with friends and family will always have a special place in my heart, it's something I'll never forget. As for the shady deals and owners you mentioned, unfortunately it's been like that for a long time. It gets even crazier when you find out that admins have the ability to give certain players or guilds hidden buffs/stats as part of shady deals to give them an advantage. It's all just really messed up. But I don't blame them - it's the players who keep joining their servers and giving them profits that allow them to keep opening the same server every month.

I'm really looking forward to playing this server. I'm a big fan of CH/EU servers, and it's frustrating to see so many CH-only servers dominating the scene. I don't understand how people enjoy them, but to each their own I guess.

Dallin and Hypnos, it's great to see you both. I wish you the best of luck with the server.
