Because there is a bug who allows u to scam people.
For example u will give him SoX Weapon +8 for his Shield+8 u just received from him bolts because he bug used

The player can report if he got scammed. Better than loose endless time with the safe stuff.

You are not loosing any time at party grinding. everyone will be in state 0 so you can just trade items normally. the only thing you need is to ask if the other guy is in state 0 too. but since that is the common state it will be completely normal!

state 1 is only used when you want to trade high value stuff (SoX and **** like +7). Since this wont be so likely the system seems totally fine for me.

Re-read the system again:

You can use safetrade 0 on your everyday routine and still trade normally (default should be 0, 1 for safe trades or stalling safe)

if its will be safe

The default safetrade should be: 0 (so you can move items on inv and no DC)

-->Situation: Grinding
-Want to trade a drop (it's a fast exchange so both users should be in safe 0): do the exchange normally

-->Situation: Exchanging big-*** items
-Want to trade a rare drop (it's an important exchange so we don't want to ruin it): tell the other user you will use safetrade 1 and he'll have to put it on
-Do the exchange normally then go back to safetrade 0


-->Situation: Putting down a stall
Want to dupe items and get banned: use 0 and open a stall and use dupe bug: Nobody will be able to buy your items and you will get DC and banned

-->Situation: Putting down a stall normally
-Want to sell items without problem: use 1 and open a stall (tell people you're using 1 on the stall name)

**IN CASE SOMEONE WITH STATE 0 DECIDES TO DC YOU**: users with safetrade 0 that buy from a safetrade 1 stall buying items, won't get the bought item and will lose the gold, while the staller wont lose the item and his gold will remain UNCHANGED (to punish abusers)

Dude it's simple.

and when i like to xchange or stall some +20 items, safetrade1

i dont even know how to duplicate items. so i hope i wont get banned at "0"
