Wouldn't it be much better to add hwid instead of IP? IP is to easy to bypass, proxies etc.

the problem is every bot is supporting proxys, and 10 Ips are like 5$, I knew a guy who had 16 chars running when zszc 1 opened..

this could also happen with HWID limit but with both its a bit harder atleast

and there are lot of problem with hwid limit system. random dc or cannot login etc.

Pretty much impossible to stop the hardcore gold botters. Best you can do is prevent the average player from going overboard. Either way, I'm looking forward to some slow leveling with so many servers pushing players to max cap within a few hours only to get bored too soon.
Good luck on this one, I wish it well and truly hope it can do nicely as a remake of the original!

Bypassing IP limit is much easier to bypass than hwid. You can simply buy proxy for $5. Goodluck trying to buy a computer for $5
