Why dude ? This is discussion. So don't be stupid, ok ? Pax is writing in vb and you (community) starting flame war about this, so now I am starting. Do you understand, baby ?
where did i started with flame? i just had a question and those guys answered me niceley. @thanks to yo123
btw this thread is not about pax vs others, so you cant discuss this here.now just dont come to this topic again,ok?
But why do you (to all) think that vb is a **** ? They also do in this language. I hate that here no flame about vb, but in pax's thread all are talking about this. They maybe do their server, we also are making server in sse. Now are moving to 1.258 client.

you may inform yourself about visual basic and visual basic .net.pax is using the visual basic from 98 and they are using the visual basic from 2010.
vb changed a lot.
vb those days wasnt object oriented while vb.net is a oop language..
efficience also increased way more, vb those days compiled regular assemblys tho, while vb10 is compiling .exe's that need to be interpreted. but still vb10 is way faster since it uses all features the .net frameworks got...
to express it in easy words.
Talk still with peoples about how bad its vb6, how nice is c, c++. Maybe you all should code in ASM its fater than c++ then i am sure you will make huge progress with your emulator(talking instead coding its what Merlin do many years already, and look at his progress ).
Btw.
Better is write whole emu in vb6, and later just rewrite in c++ for performance than start coding in c++ and never finish it. C++ gives you more control on your code but its needs more precision and time from you.Thats why i think most of you have not enought time for finish real emulator(not programmers skills but time its biggest problem in this case).
