I don't care if they win or lose money i pointed out that the "season" thing is a tactic to cover their failures just like electus did
when their shit went bad and players left they came back with the "season 1 2 3 4 5 was bad now season 6 is very good pinky promise" and it worked
now every other server is doing the same exact thing just to get $$$ and close in 2-3 months then open NEXT SEASON YAAAY NEW WINDOWS WOOW DUNGEON FEATURES FULL ACHIEVEMENT 100% GAMEPLAY FREE

People who play on those "seasoned" servers are not even players. They are just sheep. Dumb people propagating the same old bullshit and "pro devs" keep doing the same milkage just because "omq omq 5000 morons online this is best serwer i'll make 3 trillion doller soon huhuhuh". Those mindless idiotic "players" deserve to keep getting more and more seasons of cancer and really they are doing us all a favor by keeping their stupidity and pay2win mentality contained on a few large servers.

We used to play standard silkroad and enjoyed it. The most fun was had on servers that were as close to default as possible, even if that meant countless bugs. Nowadays I look at some threads and think to myself "Is this even silkroad anymore? All these cancer leaderboards and points and graphics and systems are just so unnecessary and annoying. Can I have my **** old game back please?".

The point is I ******* hate those big servers. I'd rather try a different game than play on failectus, ruby, elamidas and so on. Actually, I'd rather set myself on fire than play there. Or gouge my eyes out with a stick. Either of the two would be much more pleasant than spending even a second in those cancerous communities. And this is me being nice.

I don't have to play to know what's happening players keep on saying it all the time you're just so disconnected with the community you have no idea what's going on behind the scenes in most of these servers

and no it's not a joke
if they do it in terms of providing better balance updates & new content every "SEASON" then yes they can do it like league because that's how it is
resetting elo or whatever the fuck and balancing the game & adding new content
see that's the issue with silkroad
server owners are trying to mimic mobas and it turns out awful and hurts my eyes to see moba features in the feature list of a silkroad server that shit isn't fun
you can come up with your own original ideas if you actually take the time to prepare for a good server be it one year two years take your fucking time
implement good ideas open betas throughout those years test every single fucking feature
shit the test server's monthly bill is not even close to the amount i spend in a night out with friends and i'm assuming they're way richer than me so they can definitely afford a 1 year upfront payment for a test server to work with

thing is, most of these kids think they're some legendary programmers advertising their servers as the next big thing then the shit fails and you don't hear them say shit for the first 2 weeks and when the server gets up on its knees they act like they're the best
all that and they barely come up with any creative systems
most of these systems you see in today's servers are either stolen from other genres or other games and some of them are stolen from older silkroad servers

it's sad seeing the best server (SSN Cap 70 ECSRO Files) dead and shit servers alive with a huge player base

Unfortunately, we wanted to do that like 2 years ago but we couldn't do it due to some complains from the server owners and we don't want to refrain them from creating the same projects but with upgrades aka ''season'' , so just to keep both sides (the community/players and the server owners) on the same page. we added instead internal limit as if it's the same project you stick with the thread for at least a year before submitting a new thread.


We're still up for suggestions ''reasonable ones''

I'd understand if it's a character wipe with balance changes and good content

The idea of a wipe in general is just ridiculous. It literally means deleting progress and hard work. When has joymax ever done that on the official servers? NEVER. It's all about continuity. Adding content is fine but the ball should never stop rolling. That's what successful mmos are all about.

Private server owners do not have the skills to add good content every season/update even if done once next update will be trash
end game is boring all players with best possible gear playing pvp will eventually leave and look for new servers
and as it is now the entire game is controlled by big guilds
if u don't suck **** of big guild master u don't get them in your server
and that usually means giving them "GM" access LOL
server owners say "we only givbe discount" but cmon do you retards believe it's just "discounts"
if i have 500 members in my guild i'll definitely look for more than a mere discount on goods i am required to PURCHASE
