Some people are still interested in the game, why not leave them be?
Don't you have games of your childhood that you will still unpack after 20 years even if the graphics can't compete at all, the game engine is horrible compared to actual games?

Therefore, I suggested having a minimum word requirement for thredstarters at advertisement section. Make it 1k words minimum and the idiots will need to put some effort into their thread at least.

How about opening a thread with a weekly poll.
Players are able to upvote the server they like the most.
As each epvp account would only have 1 vote cheating(spamming votes)would not really be a problem(?).
Imagine it like this:
Week 1: Players vote for the best servers of the current week and suggest servers for next week's poll.
Week 2: The best X servers of week 1 are presented in a special sticky thread, players vote for the best servers of the current week and suggest servers for next week's poll.
Week 3: The best X servers of week 2 are presented in a special sticky thread, players vote for the best servers of the current week and suggest servers for next week's poll.
and so on...................
I know this would require a lot of activity from a mod or Creationist who offered doing it, but I think it would be the best way to get the advertisement section under control.

Everyone talking about activity, about too much work...oh guys cmon, if you are ready to get a moderator you gotta be prepared for some work and you gotta be active. It is not like getting moderator and your job is done...Even if you dont get paid for it, you was the one who applied for that position, while you knew you don't even get paid for it....If you cant affort the work and be active, leave that position to some1 who can...thats how it works. And no, i dont want to advertise myself with this.
What i want to tell you with that is, stop telling thousand times mods got already enough to do, we cant do this, we cant do that, its toooo much wooorkk...
Just to remember ya, we are here at one of the biggest gaming forum, it should be clear, that the work here is much more.

If im moderator , i delete all noobs server , I spend time more than PORTALDARK AND HAXOR on SILKROAD ADVERTISING SECTION.
I SHOULD BE MODERATOR OR SOME1 , YES IM AGREE IM NO LIFER , BUT PORTALDARK AND HAXOR LIVE THEIR LIFE AND THEY ADMIN , BUT IM NOT, FCK THE SYSTEM JOIN THIS WEBSITE AND DELETE 1433128945239058230948 CAP SERVERS , I DONT WANT TO SEE 3 DAY SERVERS NOOB FCKING NOOBS. I DONT WIN ANY MONEY FROM THIS WEBSITE BUT PORTALDARK AND HAXOR TAKE. BUT IM SPEND 5-6 HOUR IN THIS WEBSITE. FULL ONLINE BUT THEY ARE NOOBS. hey i was wondering if anyone here know how to disable/remove the Aclaim Advertise pop window?sometimes its so annoying like the one when you get killed and then revive at point were your character is dead as soon as your character revive the advertisement will suddenly pop-up and there's no Close window you have to wait for seconds till its gone specially when mobs cheesing you to death after revive *LOL* -_-' well?
