2006 iSro 80Cap Server

dont know why ppl actually want this 2006-2008 oldschool server back. sure it was the best time. Thief vs Hunter Wars in Jangan, DW, Dead Ravine (on Oasis we had days where 1-2 trader/hunter Guilds/or Allies fought against 1-2 Thief Guilds/Allies in the dead ravine for 2-3 hrs) or pvp but tbh it will never come back... at these times, there where no bots, everyone had fun coz this game was new s.o. Now everyone only cares about leveling as fast as theiy could and having the best gear to incr. their *****. So everyone is 24/7 AFK botting, there are no Guilds who are trading (for what? u get enough gold) and noone is Thiefing cos of that.

sro cmmunity died after cap90. till then everyone had fun, even there where botters. There where only few botters who where rly 24/7 afk and only cared about leveling and nothing else (but u already saw less traders etc)

this times are over..... for ever!

Sorry guys I was in the hospital all day today so we didn't get any testing done. But we have purchased a host. So not to much longer.

Operating System: Windows Server Enterprise 2008 R2 (No Virtual OSE Rights)
Processor: Quad Core 3.40Ghz HT Ivy Bridge (E3-1240v2)
Memory: 32GB DDR3 ECC Memory
Hard Drive: 2 x 240GB Intel Solid State
Raid: Software RAID 1 - Linux/Windows Only

I don't agree with you. I believe these times can be brought back with an competent team that is able to suppress the botters.
Furthermore, if the Rates for Jobbing and Levelling are good, no one would need to use a Bot.
For example:
Exp rates ~ between 5 and 15 (depends on how fast they want it)
Then Job rates ~ 100 (so that people focus on Jobbing to get their money)
Money drop ~ 1
Item drop ~ 1
Alchemy = 0.5 (as it is in ISRO to prevent +13 weapons)
SOX ~ same as ISRO = 1 (to prevent people from botting)
And then put Stones into an NPC with money that you can afford only through trading so that people need to trade in order to get their Set pimped properly.

That's what I am expecting from this server and I guess that's why everyone is waiting for this server because everyone got certain expectations they want to see fulfilled in this server.

High job rates - absolutely no economy. Hell, even increased gold rates kill it, just look what happened to SWSRO - 1 weapon elixir for 100m ( well, partly because of kralli's bug ).

It's not good connection what players want, it's a reliable and trustworthy owner, and a good DDoS protection. That's all this section needs, then It'll be fine.

Incorrect. We patched daily, we never went down, I always answered all questions in game, we never lagged and yet people didnt give a **** about that.

They want botting, thats all.

Open with BR 100/110 and tell them "botting is allowed but we wont help you to find one". That's my opinion ;o

Or just tell them, if you want a good time playing, you will have to play. No admin, gm or supporter can do that for the players.

Im not going to lie in the 80cap I use bot, But never afk bot. I use to bot and have my laptop and study but I would never go AFK bot. Lol I lost about half my friends from afk botting.

Use to play on olympus.
