I would support this ..but let's think about this from another side for example this isn't a right way to solve the issue since the main purpose of epvp isn't to limit the creation of private servers, epvp is just a place where you can advertise in a friendly atmosphere and you probably know about that already and doubt if this solution could solve, if you're willing to fix something you've to find source to analyse the problem in a proper way.

The source is the files itself

Those shitty files are built thinking on 2000-2005, where DDoS was not a practical way of attack. Joymax NEVER payed attention to it and that resulted on their shitty files(notice that we have pServers with less lag than iSRO)

The only big solution to these problems is to fix the files, either by patching them or building them from scratch

you know why WoW and AION never had this issues? because they are emulators, coded by someone outside Blizzard/NCSoft.

They can't even fix their current files. Some holes still exist. Too bad there's no one around with decent reversing skills to start such project.

They know that doing it will be useless, since they are not the target of DDoS or exploit attacks
