let me say, that i'll be happy if private servers would go down. and if everyone would think like you, there would be only extreme rich people and extreme poor people. like in the middle-age.
stolen stuff should be free, and not being 150% commercialized like zszc does it, like ecsro did and like mhtc started (all the same person).
so actually, you don't see the point why people are "hacking" or abusing bugs. let me explain it in 2 words: money saving.
if the freaking server would be FREE (yes, also free silks) then nobody would fuck with the client and packets to find out more bugs or to use tons of goldbots! now don't come with "donation, voluntary, your own fault, or helping paying the server costs" cuz you know that that's total bullshit.

nobody is destroying your amusement. why? because there is Silkroad online. the owners of the whole things you are using. either private or official.
about the crowded thing... if these motherfucking chinks wouldn't be so fucking money-greedy, they would have released the freaking server files to public, and there would be enough private servers around.
now you come with "if there are too many servers, all of them will be dead". well... think again. or take a look at the real free leaked-private-server scene! the ones who really do hard work like implementing updates, doing way better events then stupid unique-spawn or find-the-gm thing, are the ones that have well populated servers.
