VB Question
Is there a differences between VB.NET and VB 2010 Express ?
I know it's stupid question, but i can't find VB.NET for download, so i download a
2010 Express version ..
So, i don't want to start in Express if i can't do all the functions in it .

well of course!
An express version doesn't have as many possibilities as a full version but should be enough for beginners (but i still wouldn't recommend it)

it's ok for a beginner i think ^^
yea btw its vb.net
i advise you to dl vb.net express and c# express seperately because as i heard they can be used while esro is working , but visual studio isnt allowed by the gameguard.

I think c++ its better than new vb , old vb6 has control arrays wich are improving speed of developing and also many other nice things. New Vb have no control arrays its just morre like c++ just more bugged. Its pointless for him to learn vb6 especially if he want to coe in the future because vb6 its non-future language(will be no longer supported in newest windows versions) so i recommend to him strongest programing language c++ wich will be in use many years.

Hi, there is all things you need in Express version. You have all function, it's based on Framework .NET. You can't make something such as setup, reporting... on Express version. But all you need is integrated.

I got the license for free because I'm currently learning in an IT school. I'm going to become a real programmer thus it isn't just my hobby.
by the way... you could simply use the trial version of VS Professional. it's still better than express versions.
