Warlock sub

Hi. I'm going to create warlock but i don't know wich sub i should take?

cleric for deff and ress or bard for speed and good multi-target attacks?

Actually guys, i got freaking owned by some warlock bard. Sleep me, full debuff, booming wave and then red flowered me and i ate dirt.

You act as if i told him not to go cleric, and offering has a WAY longer cooldown than booming wave. So what do you do after that and that guy wants to pvp again? "Wait 1 minute please?" bard/warlock is way more interesting and the same kid i see own warlock/clerics so.

lol Warlock cleric almost own all. can hunt alone and they are really really strong at all things you need to get alot of sps. to be the best for me the best class on SRO, Hybrid amazing

I dont think SubBard is useful or that much useful compared to SubCleric. For every build, its mostly just only speed and after a certain lvl you can get Magic Orbit for reviving fast Mp however a SubCleric is able to heal himself, buff himself, put bless and blast every f*cker away with a OneHitStrike called Offering .. =)

Let's compare the utility of each sub class.

Bard:
- Speed, fair enough (or buy typhoon?!?!)
- Healing mana (vigor pills are your friends, and you should be able to kill your enemy before needing mana)
- Noise (really usefull!!!!...)

Cleric :
- survive more than one or two hits because of healing skills such as RD Healing orbit or healing cycle and all quick release healing skills
- when you switch, you keep your shield
- being cleric allows you to wear light armor and get a bonus defence while healing you or casting offering
- offering skill if warlock nukes aren't strong enough to kill him

I think cleric is way more usefull. Only disandvantage is that you have to farm a LOT more sp, but in the end, you'll be happy to be cleric because you'll be able to pown. For the int or hybrid question, I don't think it makes a huge difference one friend of mine who was hybrid 5:1 often told me that for the bonus hp he got wasn't worth the loss of mag attack power.

One more thing since i read this part where it got suggested to build just another Wizzard like 60% of the server: Just dont do that. Wizzies are noobcakes, approximately 80-90% of the server wizzies are just made for killing Uniques, the rest tries to use it for Plvl and some for Jobbing; The Debuffs of a Warlock are awesome, a Warlock is also a great grinder since his berserk gauge gathers pretty fast; Warlocks are also standing more on Pvp due to their shield; Warlocks are more fun since you can annoy your enemy and put all this amazing debuffs on him; Warlocks are imo underestimated since its "only" doing Damage over Time and not Damage on a Nuke like Spearnuker or Wizzards
