Is it possible to use the EP 8 client with these files? I'm not after new features, I would like to use the ep8 client because of the prettier scenery, with the shader in the water and the fake scenery in the distant background.
EP7-8 uses another game.exe with features absent on EP6, and uncompatible with EP6 files.
Of course you can extract EP8 Client and put most of the contents on EP6 clients, up to an extent, because several features can't be used.
Try to replace the EP6 client files with the EP8 ones and see if it works, im not sure.

Mire los archivos en C:\ShaiyaServer\PSM_Client\Bin\Config y todos correctos, inicie sesión manualmente en SQL activando modo mixto, desinstalé servicios y volví a instalarlos, inicie sesión manualmente en SQL activando modo mixto y pude entrar normalmente al SQL, formatee PC instale nuevamente SQL y nada. Probé con unos archivos 4.5 y con esos si pude. ¿No encuentro por donde tengo el error y quiero estos files porque parecen muy buenos, alguien me ayudaría?

no se si entiendes ingles, pero en las instructiones pone que tienes que iniciar los scripts the cheat engine, los puedes localizar en la carpeta BIN,tienen los nombres apropiados
ps_dbAgent.CT
ps_game.CT
utilizalos despues de iniciar el servidor
si tu servidor no se queda encendido y no puedes poner los script... busca solucion en otra parte, usa la funccion de buscar y quizas encontraras algo

If your services go down, then it's an installation problem, you are maybe doing an step wrong; it is not related to the files since they are EP5 (Almost the same to EP4 files in installation terms)
The most common problem lies on the database setup, where you choose mixed mode and the password from your database. Also you need to choose default instance always, but you should not have problems with the setup of the files.

I have added an small installation guide on this post, since several people struggle to make the files work as intended. Follow the guide and you should not have any problem.

Bueno les comparto cual fue el problema. Lo que paso es que al haber instalado sql 2008 r2 por proyectos con otros juegos quedo la base de datos anclada al ip local (127.0.0.1) es decir.. al instalar sql 2022 se genera otra entidad aparte que no coresponde al ip local solucion mas razonable es formatear y instalar de una sql 2022 o se pueden complicar decistalando todos los sql que tengan borrando librerias creadas y archivos anclados a ese sql.
Los files funcionan un agradecimiento al compañero solo queda configurar y en mi caso me salta error con el shop cash que eso es cuention de meterle empeño a configurar .
