I don't mean to necro this thread, but I have the same problem as described here. I figured you'd found a solution by now ZS, and I was wondering if you could share it with me please? =) I've been working all day through your tutorial, and overcome a lot of obstacles, I think this is the last one before I can get a private test server going.
I have tried adding a new row to dbo.Users_Master, with different UserID, Pw, etc, with the (I believe) appropriate values. However, when I try to login with that user, it gives me the "User does not exist", even though that row is returned by a SELECT * of the Users_Master table. Trying to login with the default "admin" gives the results you describe below. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Just entering a random username, or some valid US version usernames brings up Account does not exist, so it must be at least looking in the table.
I noticed that EncPassword was NULL, does that need to be set? What's wrong with the user account record? Any1 got any ideas?
