I noticed, that the program will let me open shops and such anywhere. And the warehouse and blacksmith work fine. But whenever i try and buy anything from a shop that is not in the same city as me with the program it does not work. Like if im in Fantasma's Lair i cant buy healing potions or anything. The only thing i can access outside a city is warehouse and blacksmith.

I just tested it again and it works fine on my US version. Are you using the US version or a different one? If so, what OS are you on?

The program should let you trade with the people only if your in the same map as them, i.e. armor/pots/weapons, you can sell things to them but you cannot buy, and as you said with the exception of blacksmith / warehouse people
(I even went on another server and on lighty side and still opened the blacksmith from Lailah in dark side, in their main city).
So yea, needs to be in same map to buy from merchant people. (Unless I'm misinterpreting and you can't buy even in same map)
