WHAT you can't +7?

Ok so I have made a +6 weapon and when I tried to make it +7 I wasn't able to add the gold argate to the upgrade slot. Anyone know if this is a self-player bug or is it the server?

And for lag my ms is about 200-300 and there are no down times only...
