Still nothing about a map index or anything...

I try to find a byte that gives me the current map, but I fail.
More difficult than I thought it was.

Actually I found the coordinates.
They are in a contiguous 8-bits memory area.
The first float is the X coordinate, and the
second one is the opposite of the Y coordinate.

I now need the map...
