this can't be fix. it's normal when you are using aoe/range, once dc you cannot log-in. and you'll need to exit the client and start from the beginning...

I used 3 os, exp 32bit, and 64bit... only in 64bit I did not encounter problems..

I'll try to figure out the errors regarding with the 2 other os :)...
