this is what a mod said in forum, legal action lead to bad things, like server confiscation that saves the ids then it gonna be a clear proof to ban ships, I am gonna cautious about using seabot for now, it's a great work but not safe like scar bots.
Currently, we are actively investigating a number of claims as well as taking direct legal action against those who are creating programs that others use to exploit the game. You must keep in mind that this is an on-going, long term process. It's impossible to completely prevent these programs from being created, so we have to be vigilant in adding new programs to detect these and in tracking down the sources. This all goes on behind the scenes.
We obviously will not give any information out that could help these players act against the action being put in place. However be advised that this is being worked on
