To be fair, at least not directly. Your ship password is not sent (as far as I checked).
But I wouldn't use the same password on Seafight and in his forum, if I was you.

So yea, it contains the usual spyware like all bots from iNSiDER so far. That might sound harsh, but it's the case here as well as in the old Seabot and SFBot.
When you login, your username, your userid, your guild, gold, pearls etc. is sent to the server of iNSiDER.
Of course the bot needs those things to work - but it doesn't have to send it anywhere for it to be working, so that code is purely there to spy on users.
Btw, it even disables your system proxy (probably to prevent you from watching it with Fiddler).


Nun, siehe oben. Fakt ist, dass iNSiDER wie üblich brisante Details über dein Schiff an seinen Server senden lässt (einschließlich Name, ID, ...).
Über die Gründe hingegen lässt sich nur spekulieren, und daran beteilige ich mich nicht. Ob er die Daten also tatsächlich nutzt um sie an den Support weiterzugeben ist reine Spekulation, und sofern du keinen Informaten im Support hast, wirst du das nur sehr schwer belegen können, falls dem so sein sollte.


Doch, genau deshalb gibt es diesen Bot derzeit. Ich sage bewusst derzeit, da seit ca. 7 Wochen der Client kaum noch geschützt ist (vermutlich durch ein Versehen), und jeder besagte Methode im Detail dort nachlesen kann wie in einem Buch mit Erklärungen.
Darauf stützt sich allerdings der gesamte Bot, und sobald man das bei Bigpoint merkt und ändert, wird der Bot auch wieder offline sein.

Creator has nothing to do with BotCube as far as I know.. And he isn't knocking SeaBot, he is simply saying what is happening - which is the sending of your username, and other details on your account to insider.

Its a really good bot, there is only one improvment I would like to suggest though.
When attacked, the bot tries to escape from the attacker and ultimately gets sunked.
You could add an option that would allow us to choose whether the bot fights back or runs away. (If my memory serves me right there was such an option on your previous bot)
