with this, you can use your class skills (ex. Sentry) like Taunt, Provoke, Defend etc. even without using/equipping a shield.

Good job! I try to make Slasher possible for Spears now. Maybe with this way we can somehow can get other Classbuffs. Like Zerkers with Def buff

I edited the edf for cora warlock buff (meditation) but it still demands staff. Pls help tell me what could go wrong

I did not use CE, coz I prefer edf editing.

I found out the way to use buffs and debuffs without required weapons, it works fine.
However, any type of attack skill will not work with improper weapon. There would be animation, but not damage (example: Thrust with knife or staff).

I also tried to change the properties of race debuff (aka Stigma of disgrace), but it's not affected (maybe someone else will find the way).

Edit: you definitely cannot use buffs on other races, or debuff/damage yourself. The message you'll get will say "wrong object".
