he other posts seem to be pure flaming or "sucking up," I'm not even going to comment on them.
But looking from a buyer's perspective, here is what I have to say for these tips:

Check itrade comments, some of those negative points are real BOGUS. One example is the one I found for blooper1234, which really should be removed or even MOVED to the person who abused the system with an invalid "negative" feedback. As for posts, not really sure that it matters that much. You can be a posting hoard all you want, as long as I don't see people accusing you of scamming left and right, or don't see you spam BLACKMARKET (specifically, you can do whatever else you like in other portions of the forum as long as it abides to the rules) threads either impersonating authority or with off-topic comments, you're an okay person to me.

HELL NO! Why do I have to disclose my voice or face to you when I don't have to do that to major retailers across the globe? That's completely unnecessary. This isn't a dating site.

People will underprice and overprice things left and right. It's up to the seller and the buyer to do some window-shopping and some homework and finally come up to an agreement on pricing. Since items here are intangible, the bigger the price, the more buyers think twice about the purchase anyway.
As for screens of the account, that can be easily concocted, but a picture TO THE INTERESTED BUYER (not the whole forum) is preferable. As far as items go, the easiest way to see it would be by logging onto the game and setting up a trade window.

I'll make this shorter: just make sure the middleman involved is an
official middleman and IM him or her about the transaction asking for a confirmation before proceeding.
For more details on Middleman safety, just check the following threads on the "Middleman" section of the "Blackmarket.":

I'm sorry, but as a buyer I also want have SOME guarantee. Why should the seller have all the protection? What do you think the ratio is between hacked paypal accounts buying game items and buyers scammed of items that are "blackmarketed" (meaning that they risk being voided of those items and the account that would hold them by even buying such)? The later is without a doubt much more frequent and likely to occur. While I understand a seller "not wanting to go first," I shall always make my purchases as what they are for "goods," I'm not gifting anyone my money other than a family member.

Agreed. Unsafe for the buyer as well, and their charges are enormous. Also, they do recommend to not send money to anyone you don't absolutely trust.
Finally, I would like to thank the last two sellers I made transactions with. Blooper1234 has been wonderful, I've made a purchase with him twice (one on the forum and a different one with MSN). He was understanding of the preference to make a paypal purchase as a good instead of a gift. NotASpy007 was also a very friendly and headache-free seller to deal with. I paid first on all 3 purchases.
FINALLY, I agree with the poster that pointed out frequent fights on PURCHASE/SALE threads. On a BLACK
MARKET forum with a thread stating WTB/WTS, the last thing either seller or buyer wants to see is a spam of off-topic, trolling wars.
And no, this shouldn't be sticked. There's enough stickies about safe-trading and middleman.
