Great to see a new attempt for a old style server. Hoping for not that high exp / drop rates to keep the long term fun going on.

The problem with lower EPICS its is minimal content, people love/like does Epics because of nostalgia and simplicity, but besides that rappelz is very limited, add to that lower player count in private servers and the people have not much to do.

So here's my suggestions:

1 -Use a downgrade client so u can add or remove features to change the pace of the game and give variety to it. (Ex: Epic 8 downgrade to 7 or 6?)


2- Epics lower than 5 is literally just a grind fest nothing else, once that is set, there's isn't much else to do.

3- If possible, remove party exp lvl gap or increase it from 19 levels to 39 or more, why?
Simple, any ppl to starts late and not in the Early open server wave gets to behind, will not find a party at all and is not something that says ppl to join on the server if they have to play alone all the way up to 150, its not whats a MMO is about.

4- NPC Buffers kill certain class's (kahuna mainly coz CM's are farm lords and Clerics are still needed for healing), maybe theres something to change here, add a NPC buffer with different set of buffs or make kahuna buffs better in some way.

5- Dont add everything on NPC's, that's literally wasting content to the trash.

6- Make items/consumables drop able from mobs/daily quest's (not "events") this gives something else for players to do instead of being 24/7 in a DP coz they have everything from using an NPC, so they just need to EXP.

7- ADD some items/consumables in normal mobs (SS's & consumables alike, should be in normal/champion mobs because if they are in Dungeon mobs it will to easy to farm there (maybe with much much lower %) and other items in DP mobs (when it comes to DP mobs realize what i said in (3).

8- Pets should be really hard to get, (im not talking about empty's, but the tame rate should be low enough that u need to use a summoner class to tame it, else it will must likely fail).

9- Balance the broken class's accordingly the Epic u will use, 1 man killing Raid Bosses or clearing a dungeon shouldn't happen IF a person put some effort on gear and levels.

10- Anyone pking lower level ppl for the sake of just pking shouldn't be allowed.

11- NO events, or just cosmetic items nothing else.

12- Maybe custom/unique items on a NPC that u can buy/trade for items dropped from bosses. (maybe this can be later on or just for items above r6+). Ppl will say this is bad and they hate "custom" things, but if u are r6/r7 u already have must of things whats there to do besides Exping!?

New epics have little to no content too.
It's simply takes much longer to finish your gear and pets grind and reach the "I have nothing to do" point.

Here are some examples that showcase how new epics artificially lengthen the life span of the game while playing the same minimal content.

THE TRUTH about Epic 9:

- Instead of getting your weapon to +20 and be done with it... you have to upgrade it to +25. Which requires x36 +20 weapons.
So it's the same gameplay/content as an old Epic, but x36 times slower.

- Instead of taming 1 pet and be done with it... you have to make it stage +5... Which again requires x36 other pets (not counting failing the upgrades).
So it's the same content as an old Epic, but 36 times slower.

- Instead of getting ONE level 155 chest armor with crit power dura and be happy with it... You have to farm hundreds of chest armors, hoping for the right +1 skill and the right stats and 3 or 4 stone slots.
So it's the same content as an old Epic, but much less likely to get the item you are looking for in a reasonable amount of time.

I can keep listing stuff but you get the idea.

I feel the new Epics are simply: You have a random chance to get a random chance that adds a random skill that have random stats and sometimes randomly adds extra stats with random variations of other stats. Now go farm that same item 3000 times hoping for good results on all the random things.
See you in a few years with a new Epic where we will add new gear and you will have to do it all over again with even more random things to look for!

That's not a "game". That's a gambling slot machine.

Full sign. Weekend, took a coffee, farm for some empty Angels/Kentas and talking with guild mates was awesome 🙂.

I would love to see epic4 again (Epic 5 would be ok too).

More interested in a server with epic 3 or 4 pet skills( which were different than the copy paste of the epic 5 and above) with maybe more endgame. May require pasting the pet skills and passives from the earlier epics and putting them into a later server, if they would even work. In epic 3 OBing a pet just to get evo 2 was insane and there were some really awesome cool and unique passives. The pet stats were not as high, but class skills like creature life leech and crit burn on sorcerer for example made it fresh and a constant battle of fighting crits and heals to play instead of just TAB f1ing. At the end of the day many of us play this game just for the pet system and after epic 5 , it went to **** because they changed the core of the game which was each pet was special and good at something

Yeah low rate, low exp, old style slow attack speed epic 3 server. Theres a million epic 5/7/9 garbage servers. Do something no one else has done. Look at all the old pet skills and cool **** there was, the way overbreeding used to work etc. It was fun AF and made the game fresh. This overhyped super duper rush to r7 uber attack speed nonsense ever server has gets old fast.

All i want is an epic 3 to make a sorcerer again So i can enjoy when this game was actually with, and enjoy lvling the old style pets with their way better skill trees and neat passives and actives. game got dumbed down each epic macro wise, went from having to know mechanics to a fast paced put your toggles on and afk farm game. Theres a billion epic 5-9 servers, but we have 1 epic 4 which had its own set of reworked pt skills server and NO epic 3 server. Its a **** shame. Give us something we dont even have atm as opposed to something there already is

Nothing beat looking forward to who knows what that next pet lvl would bring, that fact pets were way more in depth. there will never be a good old epic server ever. People been trying for 7+ years and no one ever managed to make a good one. Its always corrupted by some incompetence in one way or another. I have yet to see someone open a plain old epic server without any of those bullshit merchants or buffers and not allow sandboxing so people actually play buffer classes for the sake of healing/buffing instead of just clicking follow on their main and have 0 interaction with the rest of the playerbase because they dont need them.
