There are two different kind of distorted gear in Rappelz. Before epic 9.5 we had the level 180 gear (critpower set). The Gm made us than the 160 gear (15% stats, PAtk/MAtk) for the server. After Epic 9.5 we had the level 180 gear, but the 160 gear couldn't be used. Everything the GM made has to be rebuilt after upgrade for 9.5.
That would be one possibility.

It's true, that Tarun works as "normal" blacksmith. It is also true, that epic 9.5&9.52 gives 4 different kind of new gear through Tarun.
In the end what an NPC should do depends on the server

Someone asked me for this suggestion, so here it is

All Character on this server got some decent pvp changes. The pet did not need these, until recently. The pet makes many times more damage of a char in pvp only. These picture can show this:







These picture show: Pet with the same attack/CP as a player has 5 times the damage in pvp. That's because the damage from char is decreased, but from pet not as much.

My suggestion: Decrease of damage in pvp by 70% or 80% for pets vs humans. However this works, it should be pvp only.
