made it far too complicated to get the game client :S ive downloaded it now and cannot find the client folder anywhere? says 100% downloaded lol when i click download it doesnt ask where to download it to, yes i know im a noob but to be honest half of the people who will play this server will be just like me, maybe a website with a direct download link to make it easier for less tech friendly people? just some constructive critism.

Rappelz Veterean I am unsure why Marek made an installer for the portal, but it installs to Program Files x86 and it DOES infact alert you to that fact. As far as the client, it downloads where you tell it to, because you must input a directory in order to download it.

We are in the process of smoothing out all the rough edges, but unfortunately when you work with cutting edge or pioneering software..you gotta roll the lint of so to speak.

Alright, Drow's going to update his link aswell.

All you need to do in order to play in Phoenix :

Download the Portal installation files from above
Install the Portal (by default if not changed ~/Program Files/The Otherworld Studios/The Portal)
Run the Portal.exe from your Desktop (It's a shortcut)
The Portal will check for updates automatically in the startup
Register an account (the account will work on the Portal & ingame)
Open up 'Client download'
Download the client from the opened panel ^
Wait till the download finishes and the client is installed (the Portal MIGHT freeze, but just wait for it to unfreeze)
Open up the launcher
A lot of updates will occur at first run
Play
??
Profit

Making some final tests:

Every concern we had before the upgrade has been laid to rest:

- Chat options work
- Right Click Menu Works
- Quest Brokers Work
- Guilds (testing atm)
