I've an overwhelming amount of messages and emails all saying the same thing and to put it with a login and charge people to avoid people trying to scam a login and to prevent public abuse/passing around and have ultimately based on the responses of the people decided to do so and though I know most people will not be happy with this, I'am sorry - but the things going to be added to this after this initial rush of login adding and testing is going to be very abusive and I do not want it passed around openly and patched quickly or security settings put in place that will cause bans and want it to have a longer productive lifetime for people to use. I would also like to mention the hassle of over a year's worth of transaction ID's that will be an absolute nightmare to properly verify anyone if they have ever aquired the mod...

I will continue to update the mod ( which I have just done ) and add to it, I will continue to update derp aswell. But now the mod is separate from Derp.


As for the debuff people are getting - I tested this myself. It appear's this is a countermeasure to people bot hacking with low level accounts... If the char level is under ( as said ) a certain level compared to the map and you do certain interactions it seems to flag for some reason.



Now onto the good news...

Derp v1.3 is up - this will be added to the main post as a separate entry. It will be a same donation based aspect of the mod but v1.2 will no longer be supported so thus when a client update breaks it, it is done and will no longer have anything added to it. If you would like to request a login for it, please PM me and yes, you will need to donate for the access of it. It is redone and recoded and much better then it was before and after a brief mass-testing of it will move onto 1.4 that is already done and will prompt to the users automatically when they log into the program which includes some new hacks for it for all to enjoy.

So the changelog is as follows:

  • --- Derp v1.3 ---
  • Login system added, you'll need to request a username/pass from me before accessing.
  • Zoom minimum level changed to 5 instead of 0.
  • Foliage min changed to 5 instead of 0.
  • Water reseting to default when turned off fixed.
  • Clipping will now set the view dist better to avoid certain world locations that make the floor dissapear.
  • Entire back-end recoded for better memory handling.
  • Faster program response time.
  • Very cleaned up UI and spacing added.
  • Changed from 3.0 .NET platform to 3.5 .NET platform but still usable on older systems, just better sql handling and code execution.
  • UI about/ontop button icons changed.
  • About is changed, simple - but will be made to look a bit nicer later ( not totally worried about a amazing about popup tbh )
  • ----
  • Slight change in the distance for sunkens but not an overall reduction in viewdist & lodist to see if improves rendering of them.
  • Portal script updated to sort better.


Derp will be added to the main download page of my website and you simply will request login and download from there, updates are automatic to it.

Glyph updates are seperate from archeage updates and have no bearing on the workings of the mod or derp.

No, I need to check everything I have ported over an coded in a better scale then 5-10 people prior, then when everything is stable and people are using it an giving me feedback I can continue on.

Use an alt to help keep aggro from dropping or resting. Still experimenting with this. Takes alot of time, but its paying off.

What I've noticed in quick tests:

Derp 1.3:

- Turned terrain to max, then when I click "Clipping" the max terrain gets decreased by just a little in-game (not in Derp), I can fix it by just lowering the terrain by 1 value and increasing it again.

- Something that bothered me since ever in every version was that there's no title (even though the title does show up on the taskbar) so the draggable space to move the program is tiny (I colored it red, under the icon):

- Water still resets to it's default value on enable/disable (The weird thing is the tool-tip displays the correct value where it should be, but the slider appears to be in the default value, and when it's enabled its on "100", despite what the tool-tip says)

Not sure if intended:

- No tool-tip on the terrain slider?

- Full clip doesn't unrender things such as player houses (I think its intended, otherwise trees and other things players that players can interact with wouldn't show up, just wanted to make sure)

Never used before:

Fog:
Supposed to remove water fog or distance fog? It didn't clear either of them, has never worked for me in the past versions.

Hitbox:
Supposed to show a hitbox area around mobs/players when targeted? Because if that's the case, that never worked for me in the past versions either.


Mod Suggestions:

- AH Remove seconds display (since they don't work it's useless) to make it look cleaner.

- Remove collision on trade-packs? I can't go thru them when I'm on the air and people will wonder why i fell, can something be done about it just like the sunken chest, the textures it uses lets me go thru it,

It's been shared/posted on how to do it, I've already tried myself and tried also to get the bosses to stop from resetting by removing certain LoS checks but still need an alt sitting there firing on it though.

Intended for how it work's because if the slider is extremely too low it will cause the ground to dissapear on some high hilled areas. I'm working on something actually completely different for clipping now that doesn't have to do rendering - but its not completed or tested entirely so this is all I can give to suffice for now.

It is supposed to reset to 100, which it does in memory but the tooltip was not updating, I've corrected this for the next version.

Ah, when I read in the changelog "Water reseting to default when turned off fixed." I thought it meant that if I set my water to 0, when I disabled the option it would go back to 100 like it is right now but if I re-enabled the option it would go back to 0 (last value set)
