Why did the Derp terrain distance get decreased a whole lot? At the moment, it's clamped at 2800 but I clearly remember seeing way further with Derp v0.6 / v0.6...

Because it will not extend further then that, reason being for the terrain being yellow - it will not render.

Hmm, that is really weird lol. Now at 2800 I just see a big round circle where as before, I could zoom as far out as I wanted while seeing everything.

The water will be added in derp to change the levels, the AH cannot be fixed unfortunately an I see no other solution - the shop anywhere is being worked on and the mailbox may or may not be fixed trying a few things on the take all function and seeing if I can make the send work. Bout sums it up right now other then trying to break in far enough to get hauler params out of the database an do it through memory instead an see about increasing its speed like before.

Yes but some it will not render as far, its not like you can see much that far anywho except maybe chests that those cap at 2500 and won't usually display past that.

Hey Plox, is there any way to have a radar? Well, i'm a pirate, and your features are very good to find packs underwater, but i can't see packs when seomeone got them on their ship, that's what i was really looking for, is that a possible feature?

I saw him too lol. He's using hags for sure. Don't want to risk teleporting. Getting all those treasures in one sweep is pretty much screaming for a ban.

I've seen some guys on the new server who's teleporting like 5-10 meters but extremely fast from chest to chest. Any idea if that's some upcoming feature of this mod or just another hack?

I doubt they gonna get banned tho, they has been using it for 1-2 weeks now? pretty much cleaning up the sea, leaving nothing for us.. I've seen atleast 2-3 ppl using it, in before that gets used by everyone..

But oh well.. AH mod broken (sort of), Sunken chests beeing farmed by teleport hackers.. which leave us with no use of the mod other than portable mail & wh :/

I only started doing chests after AH timer got broken, that was my main gold making method. But now teleport hacks showing up - it just makes me salty.

Hey Plox, uhm.. Just wondering, is it possible to add water editing to Derp? God that would be the most awesome thing ever! I mean, it would make sense if it's possible because clipping seems more advanced (Just out of thought) but idk. Would be awesome if you'd look at it though. :)

It is removed. It could be re-added, but it does not calculate properly anymore totally and reason being for it removed. I could try to revise the script if it would be needed perhaps?

Anywhere from 1hr to 6hrs ( max ). And they do not spawn directly after server restarts.

I will not add the teleport to derp, it is still trial/error on if a ban will occur or not. These are bot accounts taking a risk and I'd rather not put something people cannot use on they're mains and them risk being banned.

Not entirely true. I've farmed quite a bit myself in search of the fin/helmets just doing the jars & chests while clipping through walls. That in itself is still a decent junk profit for a few hours of derping it for either. I don't totally agree with bots, which is why I will not code/use/help with them & I admitting will report them if I see them. I on the other hand, will not report/bother/interrupt people clip hacking or doing sunkens ( which I have seen some do so ), just wish people were more careful.

Don't be salty, most bots are getting caught where-as I and others have been manually doing it without a problem an thus the reason I won't introduce teleport hacking.

If your talking about that stupidass youtube video - its fake. RNG is server sided, it is possible perhaps to trick certain aspects into the RNG, but locally on your client you cannot manipulate it. You could see the RNG % ( which is what people have posted out of the databases ), but changing that does nothing and there is no 'seed' to it as people try to say.

This is coming in derp, which is in the mod normally - but will be added soon. I'm trying to test/fix some of the issues on win10 with Derp currently before popping that out, its still freshly coded an needs minor reworking since everyone wants to use the new crap-in-a-box OS because its 'shiney and new' and I don't want people to be scrutinized over the OS they use an not be able to access derp.


I will do an update soon with that, some working of the scripts, just be patient :)

I assume you've thought of this already, but when an AH timer hits 00:00 that's as soon as the final minute starts, rather than grabbing the exact seconds from the server, would it be possible to code in an automated countdown from 60 that starts when it sees there is 1 minute left?

I would have to hand-code that into the lua and keep it within file size. Still trying to seek an alternative as opposed to doing that.

There was ways to bug the regrade ( taking charms out of it ) and also to put things in that were not ment to be there which would give 100% success. Most of the people, if not all I believe - were banned for it. I'am by all means not a packet editor so I cannot without a doubt say perhaps there could be a way to manipulate but if you are just sending a request to the server and the server returns what it rolls then I wouldn't see how outside if an item is bugged an the return is null which == success like it did on some items. Assembly is my bread & butter - and from seeing everything I can in memory, I can say for sure that it isn't possible with memory editing or lua.

I will say, the water lvl is basically done in derp & being tested now and hauler is on my to-do list for speed next ( don't need a database when I have Olly ;) ) ontop of the fixes ( hopefully ) for the mailbox.

Do note, derp is subject at any time to stop working, however, if gameguard is ever introduced & I would need to bypass it ( which isn't hard ) to get around but it would take me a bit of time to look into how gameguard is introduced into the client and how I would either remove it using age-old methods or just bypass it. Hackshield I never cared much to bother with, it was annoying and practically speaking not many games use it anymore.. Gameguard is very fun though and something I have played with for almost a decade now because of the amount of games that have it as an antihack.

We're supposed to be able to sent mails from the mailbox from your mod? because I'm not able to do it. I'm only able to buy stuff and get them from the mail only one by one. The get all attachments feature doesn't work too.

No, sending is not working at this time. The take all will perhaps be fixed later.


I will be doing an update, which will fix the FoV and add water after the EU gets the update since the update did break the FoV on the small patch - but nothing else seems to be a problem ( let me know if there is ).

There will also be corrections an fixes included in the update, but until EU is on same patch as NA I have to wait, unfortunately, to prevent any problems/issues between regions.

hey plox just wanted to say real quick thanks for the mod and doing a lot of hard work providing us with it. Secondly i would like to add i have been using the old FOV scripts from an old mod pack since the new one you put out around the time derp came out. the new mod gave me a headache and i just put in the old scripts and rolled as normal. i would like to tell you they are still working at this time. dont know if that helps you at all just figured id give you a heads up

I will be fixing what the problem was in the fov part of the cvars, I noticed what I did mistakingly there and already have corrected it. The readme is also getting some polishing aswell to avoid confusion and add more to it for explination and so forth.

Yes but I also use it in NA to reduce the fps while mining.

Well, I repeat the same process, Character Loading into world, install scripts. It says it was installed successfully but none of the mods work.

EDIT: Nevermind. ArcheBuddy changed something. Mod pack no longer works with it.

Have you considering using a patternsearch for the byte pattern? You can wildcard the bytes that change throughout updates and figure out a proper mask, that way you can calculate the pointer to the base address throughout updates.

You mean the same thing that is in Unf & ESP for gw2 that I coded? No need until if/when gameguard gets introduced and nothing but the FoV would need to be added for it and the water lvler. Both of those only took me less then 2 minutes in Olly to update, it's just I cannot update Derp for both EU/NA until they are patch-par cause then it will crash they're clients on updating derp if the client version isn't the same and yes, signature scanning would resolve this but this is still a test-phase program and is far from complete.

I'm not an amateur coder for ASM/C/C#, it just isn't needed absolutely at all right now & if you actually used something on Derp to reflect an dig, you would see it's already setup for get base and it would take me no time at all to transfer over the code for signature scanning.

Zoom - How far you can zoom your camera out from your character.

FoV ( Field of Vision ) - How far wide your camera angle is.

Terrain - How far the terrain plane can be seen/rendered.

Foliage - How far you can see trees/plants, player placed and npc trees included.

Objects - How far you can see things like trade packs, houses, distant buildings and ect.

Water - What lvl your water height is in game, setting it to 0 allows you to walk on the bottom of the ocean instead of swimming, setting it above its normal value ( 100 ), allows you to swim to the skies and even spawn your boat on land ( does not work in dungeons ).

Hitbox - Displays the actual models hit box size and when casting spells or attacking, how big of a radius they are.

Clipping - unrenders anything on the base tiles ( outside of player placed like houses ) to allow you to pass through them, this does not work in dungeons.

Full Clipping - Removes everything but player placed models ( does not work in dungeons ).

Fog - Removes the ingame fog.

The glasses button, when toggled on, keeps the program in focus.
