That's the path of mine. I can see yours differs due to the different install location, but it looks fine to me. If you trust me, I can teamview into your computer to take a look at a couple things and might be able to narrow down some causes. PM me if you're interested. :)


Edit: I see you have a space before games, not sure if that was a typo mistake or if you actually have a space in front of Games. See if removing that space helps!

Sorry for the huge delay in any updates or progress, I've been swamped with real life work and just have had absolutely no time to do alot of anything lately, my most sincere apologies.


You donate me 50$ a month plus others, I'll indefinitely do something with exclusive only features that is well worth it cause as it stand's with this, I make small bits to get by with paying for any hosting or such and do not ask for much out of doing it for hobby, but if people contributed that much more, I'd put a hell of alot more effort into everything.



It is cross-compatible between both regions unless there is a split update ( which trion always does ) and then usually I don't need to update much of anything, depending on the update I'll only need to update the scripts due to size, and the rest is good to go.



When you paste path locations, for whatever reason here, it breaks inbetween. Not sure with your pathing being correct if its just simple as a windows 8.1 issue or something else. If he can't help you, let me know and I will offer the same and I apologize for not responding sooner.



Updates:

• Darkened the green more on user hpbar.
• Darkened the orange more for npc hpbar.
• Added trade-pack finder back, did not update the readme yet, re-used old model from chests to slim and reduce fps lag from it, there isn't much alternative here cause of how the packs work in the xml other then changing the model. Both the nuia & haranya folder ( in optional ) should be placed in the env folder of the main install if you intend to use, will update readme later.
• Changed the clam texture/light, let me know how this works, others have said it to be good while some said it was broken an they couldn't see it.
• Added hard-set values for the cvars in a cfg file in the main install to help with keeping rendering functional.
• Redid the numbers on launcher, 3-4 is cvars, 5-6 is scripts since that is the main order to go.
• Cleaned up slight touches on the HUD that needed to be done, not totally noticable but ty to the ones who did.
• Fixed some uninstall issues with files.
• Increased chest distance seen.
• Increased pearl distance seen & light size.

Do note, I'am sorry about the file size, I cannot compress it because it will effect some of the dds files compression aswell.

Wait, so should the new order be 3 at glyph, 4 in the loading text, 5 after character select, 6 once in game? Because the readme still says go 5,6,3,4. I'm getting gods disconnected message everytime now no matter how I try it.

Edit*Actually, the gods disconnected may be because of all the server instability they're having. I think everyone on my server is currently getting regular disconnects right now.

He hasn't PM'd me back so any help would be appreciated. I will try the new update and see if that works as well.

Update: Just tried the update and it still isn't working.

Update 2: Just installed ArcheAge with glyph instead of steam and retried. Still not working.

Update 3: Do you think me having Windows 10 could be the problem?

Yes cause I have absolutely no clue how to troubleshoot that at all, I've not played with win10 nor do I have any type of sandbox of it I can test on so I cannot give you any advice on if this will or won't run cause of the repacking methods an if win10 will allow it to function. I will read into it though an do my best to see if I cannot find a work-around for you or what the problem may be.

i tried with windows 10 it works ok but the game has disconnects even and without the mod. is gameguard problem with 10 also it has been written at the archeage forum.

That's weird. So it works with Windows 10? I wonder why it isn't working for me. Could you tell me the steps you took to get it to work? Also I haven't gotten disconnected once while playing with Windows 10.

Update: Just installed Windows 7 on a extra hard drive. Still isn't working. So it isn't something with Windows 10. Just to be sure I'm doing it currectly: I press 1 and then enter to install the mods without the launcher open. Then I press 3 and hit enter when the launcher is open. Then I press 4 when it's halfway through the text. Then when I choose a character and it goes dark I press 5 and hit enter. Then when I'm in the game I press 6 and hit enter. Does that all sound right? Is there s specific place I have to put the files or something?

Update 2: I'm beginning to think that the mods aren't installing correctly even though I have the path to the right place. It instantly says that they installed successfully as soon as I press enter.

someone should make an install video fro us people having issues. im following the instructions and ive made sure to change the config folder to say path itself to my game_pak file and i just dont know if it isnt installing or im just not timing everything correctly. im on windows 7. should i be running launcher as admin all the time? or no? when i first install the mods with the first oprion should it be near instant or take a few seconds? i would be glad to make an install video if i could get it to work.

Alot of people run different setups an I was looking for something more eye-catching but if its not any better, less noticable, or anything to that effect, I'll look more into it.


That would be why. It is either A. pathing, B. admin or non-admin, or C. your unpacking the files in an wrong location, moving things or else wise. Have you tried running it with and without admin? Have you tried it without using steam? Are you the only user on your computer?


You will see the files installing, it should not be instant. If I actually had a way to record I would but I'm no video artist or anything to that effect and me speaking through a recording would not be good for reasons of my gameplay and none who I play with knowing what I do behind the scenes and that they would easily recognize my voice ;)



Is this on an old or new install of AA? The AH mod should be working absolutely fine now but it does require since recent patches a fresh clean install for everything to be functional again due to how they changed delta time in the client.


Do alot of people here own cars at all or haulers? And if so how beneficial would it be for people to travel underwater without the hauler/car movement changed like how it was last patch?

Neither car nor hauler have movement reductions in the water with what I have been tinkering on and am just not sure if people would find this useful or not.

I have the correct path. Checked it with other people's stuff and it's correct. I have tried as admin and without admin. I completely reinstalled it without steam. I am the only user on my computer. I don't know why it isn't working. You can teamviewer my computer if need be. Just want to get this to work.

If I can find a moment to look for you I most definitely will but it would be alot better if you per-chance could allow to share on skype as opposed to me installing team viewer ;) . It really does not make sense on why unless maybe - antivirus? I'm kind of running out of suggestions here cause if its not pathing, not admin, not anything blocking it, then there is something wrong somewhere that is stopping you or its a simple hiccup somewhere.


On later note, the quality is poor but alot of people have been asking me about certain things an I figured I would just do a simple video of what I do when I'm bored.

I think is less noticable, i think a design like u have on the treasure chests , something like lucifer have in his "mod lite", its a bit dificult to have a good color, if its bright white we will have the confusion of the light of the day in the sky while going to freedish, if its yellow we have yellow things underwater lool can we try pink? xD

Other thing... i saw your video, loool, a great lol for that video, so cool , is that posible to enter in the ground? xD like those bugs on games, trade runs out of game, like underground :)

Haulers on water is good :) but underground would be better xD

another dumb idea, i saw something about an exploit of divine coins, changing the ID of items, it make me thinking if it's possible... deliver a trade pack to an ocean trader with the ID of Perdita torso statue.

Do you have any pictures of what the black pearls and enhanced chest view looks like perhaps? Either here or a pm! I'm having trouble finding any chests even with the mod. :p

Update: I finally got it to work. What I had to do was go into compatibility for the packer and put it on always run as admin. Then I had to run the launcher without admin. Then I was able to do everything. It was a weird mix of doing random stuff to see if it worked.

how exactly do I need to install this mod. I unpacked it in the AA folder and all the mods I do not need deleted from the folder and started Launcher, select option 1 and mods were installed. then start playing but it is not as it should. please help

mod has messed my whole ui up, exp bar is at the top by itself, i cant see my own hp/mana bars. two faded black bars on each bottom corners. ununstalling mod dose not fix. thinking its just the new hud file and mod hud file sizes dont match up and it throwing it all off. ill be waitting on a update / fix. thanks

I've been working on something with it, but it's hard to figure out exactly how the vehicle camera's are stored through xml/lua.



The chests are quite noticable, but do be aware the amount of people doing them now an how they have a recycle timer before being up again. Same applies for the pearls, granted they are more like TST's and between growth stages they have a chance to proc, or when they spawn. Which is another reason I again say, please stop digging them up on servers, it does not help and your just messing the timers up cause they respawn randomly anyways, it isn't giving you the timers, it doesn't help them to proc faster/sooner or when they spawn, just stop being retarded.

Seek above. The reason you get packet errors is not rolling the scripts/cvars back at the right times, running SSD's makes it a bit more harder aswell cause the load times but I use an SSD as do many others and never get the error cause I do it spot on every time.


I have checked the mod that is uploaded, loaded/ran it myself, I have no UI issues. Are you running a different language on your client? Are you using something else to decompress the file like 7zip or such? The only reason it would break is you have an old version, not an updated version, a version from somewhere else that was compressed which can't be done cause it breaks the dds file, or different language setting.


I will not be doing any updates until after the patch for EU/NA so I can make sure everything is functional after this patch.

Yea after I posted this I found many chests... Never noticed them as I actually didn't find any at the time. :P Thanks for the info though.

Also to note, am fixing a few things that have been pointed out from the NA players right now, I will have something sorted and ready soon, but be aware that EU should not update to this until after the patch since there is file differences. I have no ETA cause glyph is slow and need to look/test everything myself prior.

Yes, I'm seeing what modifying and playing with it totally effects, how its observed by other players, what it does to vehicles, mounts, ect - then going to instructionalize people how to use it.

Right now I'm busy trying to update the scripts, so far it seem's only that is causing the disconnect but I have been on for over 20 minute's now after updating what needed to be. Not sure why the UI broke for some people but I just installed onto a clean client an it seems to be working fine.

Updating soon, need to type up some things an double check some stuff.

Btw, i noticed when this is put on a Windows Vista environment(both virtual and physical) the packet error, random close, crash, or however you wanna call it doesn't happen as quickly. lasts anywhere from 1 to 2 hours(after recent patch). so i spent a lot of time changing 9 of my virtuals over to Vista OS just to stay "high" for longer. lol.

so glad the dealers cooking up a new batch. ;)

Changelog:

• Updated timer file to match size for new boxes.
• Added timer to main script run so will auto collect the tokens.
• Updated the readme to explain new bypassing method for scripts, yes we are onto another one. They added a start-check ontop of the cycle check, but there is still a way around it.
• Removed all of the old arena files, sorry if you are non-patron but if you are using this you probally are patron an it just isn't needed anymore.
• Updated the UI file but still may break from update compressions due to glyph, if it does I'am sorry but you will need to re-install your client to correct the issue.
• Removed the install cvar, did not seem to help keep the rendering functional on sunkens, actually made it worse sometimes.
• Updated the readme for the numerical options on launcher aswell as for the trade pack optional install.
• Fixed slight error in AH ( hopefully ) with deltatime that was displaying put auctions as less time, if persists try reinstalling your client an deleting the entire bin32 folder.
• Slight changes for clam/chest, just for rendering.
• Render changes in the cvars to tweak slightly.
  
• Testing the water/car/hauler/ect stuff now, will post update for it soon with some instructions on it after we get all the info out of it prior for people.

think i found what it was, when i 1st started it up and went to unroll scrips it asked me to force roll something i hit y , 10 mins later got dc'ed saying packet loss!, had the black screen, after about 20-30mins i was able to get back on, but ui was jacked, im just reinstalling AA and the new update mod.

ok UI seems to be fixed, but i'm still getting a packet error every 5-30 mins and game goes poof

and unless you've moved under water chest to optional they are not showing up anymore. at lest not that i can see within the 5-30mins of game play

everyone read the updated readme, you now must roll scrips when u see ur load screen, not when it fades to black, no packet errors anymore.

So I am used to waving to my fellow Plox-o-saurs as we all cruise up on the same chest...I've found some Black pearls, even got the Perdita Statue once BUT these Delph Registers....

Within literally 3 minutes of the servers coming up yesterday (and every time) 2 delph registers were found by the usual suspects and they do spawn in the chests right?

Anyone know what that is about - I don't want an update to the mod (it's great) I just wanna know what kinda hax that is all about.

(I imagine a chest which floats above the water, is the size of a Nuian mansion and flashes like a radioactive Black pearl.... )

The delphinad registers are from the delphinad ghost ships not from chests and unless you dont have a epic+ galeon and a 20 man crew stay away from them.

That is another thing to note, I usually just keep sailing if I see someone at the same chest an always leave them be - why can't other people have the same decency? I don't like fighting over chests cause people are greedy and it is rather obvious when we see people at them whom is using the this or the other mod - can't we just share an move on an not fight like mongrels over a bone? Just simple curtsey goes a long way but I guess chivalry is dead in most games.

Going to respond where I need, glad everything is running optimal for everyone, I know there is still HUD issues as I explained in the changelog, there is nothing I can do about it because of the decompression with glyph when doing the update, I've tried matching to the exact but it still seems to keep the same issue.

Also to note, is there other things with the HUD or else were that people would like re-vamped? I've went through alot of the files, there is quite alot I can adjust, tweak, make nicer or else wise just editing the images. Perhaps new backrounds or new layouts for other things? Not sure what people would like, I usually just mod alot of that the way I like an then ask a few what they think.
