I'd be so happy to get 1 on 1 support to work through all of this. PLOX I added you on Skype. Any tips to why I'm getting so many errors?

Are you just running the repacker outright and not the launcher..? It wouldn't have a black backround usually if you were running the launcher and it could be an antivirus or windows defender issue. Just message me on what your doing exactly, I'll try to sort it but win8.1 isn't totally my thing but I have sorted alot of people with it ( i prefer win7 ultimate ).

I've tried the launcher (blue background) and packer. I also tried running packer and launcher at the same time and it won't work.

for start open the config file with text editor and look if is correct like AA_Path=C:\ArcheAge\Working\game_pak or where else is it. then run only the launcer not the packer

1) The URL is right.

2) I've run the launch as admin ect and clicked (1) and nothing happens in game.

After reformatting the software as Windows 7 when I loaded it, it gave me a wrong URL error.

I changed the URL to the C folder and it now works :D

Update:

Mods alone works fine. If I run scripts or Cvars then I get "the gods have disconnected me" when the game loads up.

Update:

It all works now. Only got kicked for "packet error" after 20 minutes.

Should work all the same launching with archebuddy, it edits the same pak file arche is loading, I just don't use arche so I could not tell you a sequence scenario to go with on that - maybe if you told me how arche loads I could give you an idea?

That is not accurate, those are just file's that are checked on load, the rest are checked in the ladder.

That is actually something delaying us, being able to do TST but without it effecting certain aspects, same with trade packs would apply to all packs, and how the model would work and also how some things with the changes to skills is breaking some of what we are doing with the skill sub system. Also it is client configuration orientated on weither to or not to run as admin, as I've gone through an troubleshooted people with alot now, on it.

I tell you what, since the happenings with the packs on model stretching isn't going to work cause how it effects packs globally I'll use a more simple model to represent them and increase the distances ( which should be increased as is ).

Thunderstrucks is hard to test, I tend to browse the farms on ollo to look and see so if you happen to play there then be nice an leave it for a lil for me to help out ;) ..

Also, it is interesting on the server I play on to see some of the 'power guilds' who have such 'big stances' on people not using mod/hack/advantages and yet are using themselves.. My how the game does change over the time ;)

Only reason I mention that, is to encourage people to make it less obvious cause it does draw alot of attention when your going from spot to spot to spot to spot constantly an not trying to even hide the fact your aware of the locations.

As for the boats I'm looking into the increases, since some rendering changes have happened an entities are rendering a bit differently now.

Sure, keep donating, I'll give exactly what the people want :) , will update that tonite/tomorrow an put the pack aspect in with a model to help salvage back but with something different and will change around with the boats/rendering to try increasing it to best.

Not sure if this is just me, but after installing, I can't seem to get the video skipping to work. The initial Trion Video is skipped and the second half with Leviathan, but the one in the middle with the battle always seems to still play and I can't escape out of it. Any ideas?

Sound's like on the first bit your cfg file in your documents folder is broken, might wanna check that an see what it looks like when you open it up.

As for the second part, yes it's supposed to look like that so you don't just aimlessly run through a door doing library without knowing were the door is an if you wanted to look legit, you could come up an open it normally an none would suspect anything :)

Hm. I read the readme and I did everything as it said when it said and this still isn't working. I even made sure I changed the game_pak file path.

What do you mean by "isn't working"? Have you tried running it as administrator or without administrator rights?

I've tried with admin and without admin. I install the mods and then I follow the readme to the t. I've even tried uninstalled the mods and resinstalling the mods. Still nothing.

The config.ini need be checked, you need not move anything out of the original folder.

If it's 8.1 some say running with, others without admin.

The most general problem, is pathing and people just running it. I setup something to automatically path to aa and store it in the config, probally be a better solution to just avoid this, will whip it up just testing alot of shit right now :)

Yep and checked it and changed it to where my game_pak is. It's what I said in my first post. Nothing seems to be working.
