It is only disconnecting because either 1. your not doing it promptly enough to avoid the recycle or 2. you have a very slow loading cpu and it gets caught in the cycles.


To the ones whom have paid, you've been answered. I have decided to collaborate with cloudafloat whom is an long time user and small coder from gw2 to help the people a bit more with something a bit better to suit, be patient while we start working together an I can actually get some help in.

All I can say is please keep the majority of the questions out of the forums and direct them to me personally to avoid leaking and patching of what is possible right now. I'd rather trion not know what is being done an they do read these forums.

I disconnect at character screen/loading screen everytime. Even without the second part of the mod installed. Anyone know why? Is it to do with the mod?

That would be your end, not the mod. If the second install isn't even done, then it should cause no disconnect.

Does the mod not remove the stupid loading video anymore? I don't see FoV changed anymore either. The loading video is annoying having to hit Esc every time I load the game I liked that part of the mod the most I think.

No, but I did try on redidt to contact hartman an explain why/how it was exploitable to take the servers offline aswell as the new apex exploit & was ignored.. I myself have not exploited what is causing the server crashes nor the apex exploit but am well aware of whom did and why they did it and a bit sad the method was not left alone.. :(

There is some things that I will morally allow, others I refuse.. The crash exploit is one of them, its just pointless and detours any progress for me and others..

There will be a update, tonite, at some point - however. Should be to everyones liking alot more :)

Sad thing is, we are probably gonna see crashes like these more often if this people managed to do this so easy...

So I've published an update to cleanup all the messy shit in the scripts aswell as the readme, everything all in one for a batch, some other things too.

Hmmm.... Seems like I am randomly getting disconnected after about 20 minutes-ish. I've followed the readme to the T and it is happening. There must be something else that is going on that is checking a little after... But I don't know what it could be.

Same, been getting disconnects ~20 min in. Pretty consistent.

Yes I have been following the steps, did it with previous one and worked fine.


EDIT: Did some simple testing of my own. Logged in without running steps 2&3. Still got kicked. Could mean they manage to add a detect for someone else from the 1st batch.

I dont think that mod is being detected. I was online for 10+ hours without any DC.

I did notice that after I get disconnected and log back in, the view scroll, FOV and view range seem to still be in effect, without running the mod again. Does this mean that the 2nd step in the readme is not working as intended on my PC? I'm going to log in, in a few minutes after closing Archeage completely to see if I get the same issue or if anything is still active upon booting. Never had this issue before which is why it is perplexing to me, up until now, I've not ran into any issues.


EDIT: After logging in from a clean start, not running the mod at all, and standing there fishing. It took about 40 minutes before I was disconnected by the Gods. Things that I noticed off of a regular start(no rolling anything was(No timestamps, big zoom/field of view, casting bar, No AH, No Friends list, Loading Screen/Server Select, Changed Font) I'm going to uninstall the mod and see if the same issue incurs. If it does, then they have to be picking up on something else that you didn't notice. I did not have this issue before installing the Mod. If I am getting disconnected after uninstalling the mod, I'll uninstall the game and re-download just to be extra sure.

EDIT2: After uninstalling the mod completely, I was still disconnected after about 20 minutes if not a little sooner. I have uninstalled the game and will be re-installing it as we speak. Once I have a fresh install I will check this once more and see if I still get disconnected.

EDIT3: Seems after the full re-install everything is working fine again. The strange thing is, even after the uninstall and re-install. The FoV and UI settings were still in place. However, everything else was gone. I will try to do this once more on a clean install and see how it goes next.

It's fine, I didn't release any hush hush information regarding anything that was included or being done. I made sure not to. Just letting him know all the steps I'm taking in an up to date manner.

I don't seem to have an issue just doing it as such.. Maybe skype or message me the rest of info like when, how long, what the process your doing is ect.

So I just found out that it's still working, but it stops working when I alt-tab. I used to love the program because I could get work done while AFKing. Do you know what would cause this? Thanks!

I'm getting disconected by the gods, before I log any character in. I've uninstalled the mod, and got the same issue. On any accounts and on every characters. Looks like something smells at trion. Please update me about this issue.

As long as you follow the instructions in the Readme file, you shouldn't have disconnection issues. I am using this mod every day with no problems.
