You're still playing some WarRock? Nomad, are you okay? You can tell us everything.
I'm playing GW2 since the pre relase and some SA:MP. (dunno if anyone knows, it's a multiplayer mod for GTA:SA)
I bought GW2, but for some reason I can't be asked to play it anymore. I think the only class I ever played for a while was a thief, until level 60. Can't even tell why, but Guild Wars 2 kinda disappointed me. My next MMO hope is "The Elder Scrolls: Online" - I'm really looking forward to it.
Still playing BF:BC2 at times, BF sucks in comparison.
Guess you're talking about BF3, "in comparison". I don't know, guess it's subjective after all. I like Battlefield 3, it's definitely one of the best games these days, in my opinion. Especially when you look at other competing products, such as the Call of Duty-series.

Many people have been disappointed by Guild Wars 2, they're putting to high demands and so the game was extremely hyped.
But as an experienced player with 1.000 hours of playtime and a 6 year gaming knowledge about the first part of the game, I can say you... it's pretty fun and a game which can be played for a long time. For example, some people are getting disappointed because they don't reach a legendary weapon (the expensivest item) within 2 months, which was really clear in advance.
Oh, and the thief is a really squishy class. If there'd be a statistic, players who started the game with the thief class will stop playing earlier than players who started with another class.

Even without hacks and a rest time of 2 years I could bet you.

Well, I'm nobody who would judge a game too early - which class (class/race combo) is one, you could advice for some long-term fun ingame?

Puh... there are no differences in races (except the look and size) so you can pick any race you like. And I want to be honest, I can't give you advices for long-term fun, you have to test the classes and see which ones you like.
But I would recommand you the ones with heavy armor (warrior/guardian), they are very tanky and can deal great damage. (if played well)
Also you have to concentrate less on the right moving and dodging, other classes are squishy so if you don't know how to move, you'll probably die faster.
Just my opinion, if you have any questions regarding GW2 you can ask me via PM or here. (in English or German, as you want )
