Indeed they are. They lure you to the Discord, gather most info about duping exploits and offer Gold to you
So you give them info on how to do it, and then they make the exploit and sell the gold to you

Since i have lost interest in this game have following info:
The state of Character-Persists is still somehow achievable.
I managed to get it done 2 times now and am still not sure how and why but with following steps, you might get along better than i did.
1. Login with new Char in tutorial
2.Kill steam process in taskmanager and open steam again, start new worl 2nd instance
(Step 1 and 2 can also be only 1 Step if you just use Lagswitch before pressing Yes on skip tutorial. But it has another result, but it was the one that led me the most in Bugstate)
3.On character already logged in press skip tutorial-> yes
4. Same Time you pressed yes, you also Login with THE SAME CHAR
5 You are in Turorial but free to move around, chat, Press tab, drop stuff on the floor and double tab to have second tab open, but dont go to far, video with mob starts a little further...if you go and do that you are stuck in position and cant move. There is only one way out of this i wont share. (Yes, alt+f4 does the trick too, but you get portet to the island)
And now here is the situation.
Sometimes you just restart, walk to next town and try to trade someone and it says you cannot. That is when you are bugged. But most of the times you spawn normal
I have used Lagswitch sometimes, died, relogged and landet back in tutorial.
That is all info i have. Do with it as you like as i have given up.
I am sick of seeing assholes sitting on millions and not share wilst others are Banned.
Trade chat is full with stuff no one can affort.
So i say Fuck NW. And no i was not banned yet. Still free, still have my golds, still have my items i duped because i did it on 3 Mule accounts and tradet it fast enough over the TP to my main.
Be smart, dont get cought, fuck the people that wiggle with the wrong info infront of you and dont give them attention, as their ego will grow over them.
