I know what you mean, but it depends on the mood of the operator, sometimes you feel like you're being taken for a fool, sometimes you get a great service. I wouldn't subscribe to the way you describe it, of course a payment is more attractive, but I use a Livetime version, for example, and still get very good service from time to time ^^
