From my personal view: there is no proof that there was an exploit to get access to the database. Seems more like some normal account checker and an exploit at the homepage itemshop to get coins for free.

I sincerely apologize for not being active on this forum for the past few days, but please believe me when I say that I have been extremely busy. I would like to thank the German community for the large presence on our server, and also thank the entire Metin2 community for the support.

I won’t lie, we are under a lot of pressure, but seeing the huge impact we have only motivates us to work even harder. Origins2 is a beloved community.

As already mentioned, almost a week has passed and the database is still vulnerable. Instead of resolving the problems quickly, they keep delaying without any clear direction.

The website is practically non-functional: the only things that work are registration and donations, nothing else. Meanwhile, a new leak has already exposed several accounts – including top players and even well-known YouTubers.

It is only a matter of time until even more sensitive information about this project will be published, showing how insecure and poorly managed it truly is.

This project only takes money from players without delivering anything in return, and the videos proving these leaks are already public.

Wer Swornx3 von levia kennt, weis was er für ein Tryhard ist (bzw seine 10 mann Gruppe die von Server zu Server hüpft und die echtgeld Preise mitnimmt) Der hätte niemals das selbe PW wie auf einem anderen Server. Schon krass, dass er hier leer geräumt wurde.

Und dass 2FA auch umgehbar ist sollte definitiv in der Modnotiz vermerkt sein!

lange hat mich schon ein Server nicht mehr so gepackt wie dieser.. zudem extrem voll.. wahrscheinlich der Server mit den meisten Spielern aktuell

Nach meiner eher enttäuschenden Erfahrung mit Alturi2, wo Bugs und fehlender Feinschliff schnell die Motivation genommen haben, war ich zunächst skeptisch gegenüber den anderen aktuellen P-Servern. Trotzdem habe ich Origins2 ausprobiert und bisher etwa 15 Stunden gespielt. Mein erster Eindruck: Es fühlt sich komplett anders an - im positiven Sinne.

Was mir bisher gefällt:

Motivierendes Farmsystem: Es macht wirklich Spaß zu farmen, weil man konstant kleine Fortschritte merkt. Es geht nicht zu schnell, aber man hat immer ein Ziel vor Augen.

Aktives Team: Man merkt, dass das Team regelmäßig am Server arbeitet. Updates und Verbesserungen kommen spürbar oft.

Hohe Spielerzahl: Gerade für einen deutschen Spieler ist das ein Pluspunkt. Man trifft ständig Leute und es gibt deutsche Gilden in Masse.

Fairer Itemshop: Viele Dinge, die es im Shop gibt, kann man auch relativ problemlos ingame erspielen, ohne direkt Echtgeld ausgeben zu müssen.

Was (noch) besser sein könnte:

Häufige Downtimes: Durch die vielen Updates kommt es regelmäßig zu kurzen Unterbrechungen. Nicht dramatisch, aber erwähnenswert.

QoL-Features im Shop: Einige Quality-of-Life-Features, die auf anderen Servern von Anfang an kostenlos sind, sind hier an den Itemshop gebunden. Das ist Geschmackssache.

Fazit:

Origins2 ist aktuell nicht nur der meistgespielte Server, sondern überzeugt auch durch seine solide Qualität und motivierenden Spielfortschritt. Wer einen aktiven, stabilen und fairen P-Server sucht, kann hier bedenkenlos reinschauen.
