I only played a bit there, but I saw a very nice and interesting thing, a behaviour which is not common among most of server admins on the field of Metin2 pserver: hard working

There are often tons of changes concerned about what he promised, also interesting features/QoL and so on which are not so applied on Metin2 enviroment.

The server itself has a low amount of players and I find unfair this, because this guy is making a lot of effort, hard work and specially he is caring about his players, not only about the income from IS as the most do.

He introduced also most of f2p things and so on which can help new players and current players to afford things from IS

That's really uncommon

Please, just give to this server a try, go and see their patchnotes & news sections on their discord and be aware & realize their good work

Give it a try and play on a server where the administration truly care.

Now all characters are good to play, although ninja has a small dmg with bow.

First of all i want to thank each and everyone of you for your implications in the comment sections.
For me its enlightning to see interest and criticism no mater if its constructive or destructive.

I am a man who understands verry well and i dont rush into things, thats why we will let Sidra speak for itself. I mean results, not words that are not valuable without facts.

But there were some rummoers or comments that affect me personaly wich are either not true or not well understand, but i don't blame anyone, therefore i would like to answer a few commonly problems transparently.

"Itemshop is so p2w"

It looks expensive at first place but its made like that because in game you can obtain Coins esaliy.
From places such as:
-Boss drop
-Boss chest
-Trivia event
-Mining event
-Golden frog event
-Weekely Rankings
-Thief Gloves craft at Wonda Rym
-Global Challanges
and there are more...

Besides, a expensive itemshop it's not "p2w" it's the opposite -.-
It means players must farm more in the game

"The owner of Sidra2 already had other servers and failed"

It is true that i was the technician for older servers, however those were my projects where i learned all my skills and capability obviously. I couldn't came up with a server like Sidra without experience.

I was paid with percentage in those servers to be a server technician who maintains, do all the updates and requirements for the owner.

So for that, i belive its not fair to carry the pain of working for money for older projects forever when i had nothing to do with the server directions or decisions, just the technical part.

Its nonsense to promise anything about this subject but i feel like i can't stay silent.
So my respons will be simple and short, here it is:
Sidra2 will close when i will be in one of those two placesplaceses:

"Server is full of hackers"

It is true that the server has a low protection for farm-bots and other software directly injectable into the client.

Until now we only had a hack-protection that blocks all the waithack, x3 damage, speedhack, so the hardcore hackers are stopped and they can do nothing about it.

As far for the client protection against injections, the metin2 marketplace was lacking of protections, no money can buy you something that doesent exists.

We had Uriel Anticheat but he doesent offer support anymore, we still have acces to it but we decided to remove it because of stupid errors for no reason.

We are searching for a solution but it has come to our ears that a good proteciton is now available again so we may take a look.

"Server started with 400+ and now its less than half, server is failing"

I wished that will never happend but problem appeared, i can't blame the bugs that got player nervous, the unbalanced gameplay or the fact that i opened on holidays, i'l just blame myself for not being enough carefull, but those things are now in the past, theres nothing i can change about it and i won't spend my time woring about things i can't just, however il tell you some things that i can change.

Sidra2 will always develop in a good way because i will make sure, i'm happy with the server, with my work and with the updates.*

We fixed everything and now things are steady, from here we are focusing on other problems such as making Sidra more perfect than it is, you can have a look at the update above and decide if we made good changes or not, if we care about server or not, if i will let sidra2 die, or not.

Even though some servers started to just copy paste our gameplay and ideeas its just proving me that im on the right track.

Mark my words: Its easy to open a server, its hard to keep it online with players.

And i could have easily just faked the numbers like everyone does, i just want to be different, i want my battle to be hardcore, hahaha

Joking, i just cant lie my own players and to myself that there are 800 online when in fact there are 150, i stopped lying when i see it has consequences

With the latest update, the server is even more beginner friendly and has loads of QoL changes that give the smoothest gameplay of all the servers out there (even the bigger ones, and trust me, I've gone through a lot of servers).
The server is becoming better and better as days go by, a lot of new players are coming and there is already an amazing community established on the server. Everyone is helping each-other if in need. All the itemshop can be acquired in game easily and P2W is totally abolished.
I've never seen such invested team of admins working to improve the server, literally you can see there are daily constant updates that make the server for the better.

Considering all the things said above, this is the best old-school type of server out there that is here to stay for sure!

The trivia event is something unique to the server and makes it for everyone to have a equal chance in hitting the jackpot ^^
