DMA is straight up terrible due to some stuff triggering in game that don't change anything in the game's memory, some events, with DMA you can only get current state of the game (same for external) which massively nerfs anything you can do on League, also people making stuff for MacOS need to buy a computer, either a Mac or a computer compatible with MacOS emulation because 95% of computers aren't (stats pulled from nowhere, I personally don't know anyone that has a config that can run MacOS emulation except the people that bought stuff to be able to run it)

Suppose the DMA part makes sense. The only reason i think of MacOS is that BGX which arguable recieved no support, and was the lowest effort attempt at doing a Mac port i think ironically worked the best as a public project. Surely the buyin cost of just getting a mac mini or something is cheaper than nearly 300/month with bypass+script for most people? Maybe its a simplistic view on it
