Hearthcrawler is really awesome. Used it for unranked since I just started and here are the scores:

- Mage 5/1
- Paladin 5/1

This is with the profile which comes with the client. Will also try other clients.

I'd recommend Smartbot over Hearthcrawler to everybody any day.

Why?

Hearthcrawler became so popular due to SmartCC (strong AI coded by wirmate). Then wirmate left the team and started his own bot (Smartbot). Hearthcrawler now only has UltimateAI and DragonCC (an attempted rip-off of SmartCC), both are pretty bad compared to SmartCC/Smartbot.

That's just my 2 cents.




@jultjeboy: That's not Hearthcrawler performing, but the custom class (the AI) you're using. Hearthcrawler is basically just the injection and some general features. The AI itself is doing all the strategy and plays ingame.

These are words that are thrown around by Hearthcrawler moderators on a daily basis.

I'd rather see, you know, an actual update over some promises, especially considering a lot of people are having problems with DragonCC while the mods just tell us it's the best AI ever.

It has been worked on a rewrite of dcc since 1 or 2 weeks I think. Those who rewrite the dcc sit almost 18 hours per day on the code for 2 weeks or so. (ofc there also is their rl.)
