Hi Kronos,

Thank you again for updating the bot. I am still struggling with getting the SQLite database to work. I have followed the FAQ and placed the 2 .au3 files in the Include folder and it would still spit out the same error "Failed to start SQLite". I've also checked other online forums and did the update to SQLite and it showed "Library used incorrectly".

I've restarted it a few times, did X64 and X86 installs to no avail.

Hi @, yeah I don't mention it in FAQ, but you do need indeed to install SQLite (). It sounds like that's what you did though ?
I'd advise going on discord for more help ()

Hi @ : this is normal. I didn't finish this part of the bot.
I mentioned it on the discord but not on this forum, but basically the interface is present but the work behind it is not complete yet.
The rune part works, but not the inscriptions and the mods. I just updated code so that we can at least use the interface for the runes for now.

Outstanding job with this bot. Having become a member in 2020, nothing better to do lol, I learnt a lot, I don't code full time, and being just a hobby, I dibble and dabble at points. I can usually get a bot working with the gwa2 and headers, sometimes even going a bit further. However for someone who doesn't code on a daily basis and is purely looking for another way to experience guild wars. I just want you to know that I highly appreciate your amazing work with this hub.

PS. Everyone in the other thread mentioning py4gw, supposedly being better and easier than autoit, to me, it looks like a minefield when it comes to the installation process in comparison to running an autoit script. So thank you once again on behalf of everyone, not going down the route of py4gw lol

Concerning py4gw, as a developer I can see the value. AutoIt is practically dead compared to other coding languages, it's updated every 5 years, and it only gets now features that have been present in other languages for 20 or 25 years (maps for instance).

But as a user, yeah I don't think there is a big advantage to switch to python. It's more performant but it's mostly not noticeable to the end user, and it does have a slightly steeper learning curve.

its a copmpletely different approach, we are not focusing on doing "bots" we are focusing on making a true multiscript/multiaccount library.

bots are present but as a byproduct of what we as a community plan and execute.

you can see it more than a playground for programmers than a source where most leechers can go and get free stuff,. And thats the main reason pleople dislike it, because they have to put a bit of effort into it, you can even see it on the install process, theres literally 3 prerequisited to install, and some dont even try to do that, but its how it is, its a very good filter of people that simply dont want to put a minute of effort.

ive seen you helping out on the gwa2 discord (im an admin there also), i invite you to have a look at what were doing, you might be interested as a programmer, were doing very interesting stuff.

I tried running the bots solo, but they won't open. There's no character to choose in the drop down menu. When I add #include lines to the GUI, they have errors opening the files. I tried adding Lightbringer and Luxon for example. I read the guide well and have the repository cloned with an export I'm working in.
