Hi all, Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere, but I have noticed OmniFarmer Presearing no longer works with the re-forged update(not surprised by that). I have saw a lot of players that very much look like they are botting Farmer Hamnet so I was curious if anyone could share a working one for that?
Basically works, but I encountered some major problems, I dont know how to edit the steps or change specific things otherwise I would do it myself:
- the bot runs out of Ascalon and straight to the gate even when Rurik isnt ready and then it gets out of his way so he doesnt follow, which leads to a guaranteed death
- player stands too far away from the Charr and doesnt get any xp most of the time
- when the last 2 Charr are killed at the same time, the quest is completed, but the bot doesnt notices that and goes on without abandoning and accepting the quest again in the city
- doesnt use any healing skills
I hope you can fix those points, thank you for your effort on creating it.
- added a 3s sleep at the beginning to wait for Rurik to start running
- added the setup quest function at the beginning of each run (maybe a better one available? cause the player runs to the middle of the city first instead of going straight to Rurik to accept the quest again)
also would be nice, if as soon as a charr attacks or debuffs you, to use a heal immediately, cause it gets pretty sketchy when 3 casters attack you at the same time, especially at lower lvls
I made some modifications:
- included the 3s wait for Rurik in the beginning to make sure he start running
- the character now runs out of range of the Charr after Rurik engages and walks back in and starts fighting. This should be pretty safe while getting all the exp. and casting the skillbar from 1-8.
- added a safety feature that the character fast-travels back to Ascalon if the health drops below 33%. This feature is on throughout the whole LDOA bot. While the 33% threshold is maybe a bit high, I hope it ensure Dhuum's Covenant.I haven't tested the bot from 1-20 completely with Dhuum's Covenant, since I need to wait for the Farmer Hamnet quest. But from 1-10 it already works.
First of all, I’d like to thank the team who worked on the recent updates to this bot—it’s been extremely useful.
In terms of my experience, it generally works well. The main issue I encountered with this new version is that it sometimes freezes due to incorrect spawning of the Charr, who appear behind the door, making it impossible for the NPCs to kill them and also for the user if it happen to end up out of range. This means you have to manually intervene to attack them.
Out of around 60 runs, my character died once. The timing and positioning is really improved, however sometimes, also due to Charr spawning position, the user tends to lag a bit behind, so Prince Rurik and the NPCs often kill one or two Charr before you can engage, resulting in zero experience for those runs. However, better waiting for a couple additional runs and playing it safe than risking death.
The loot collection feature works generally fine, but it would be ideal if it could also pick up the Red Iris Flower that always appears in that area, rather than only grabbing it when it’s within immediate range.
The “retake the quest if completed” works fine!

Doesn't recognize Hamnet quest when already accepted and when I abandon it, it says the quest is not available after running to Langmar. Maybe something with the quest ID?

Thanks guys! this has been working great so far, Tried it out the past couple of days with no issues and no Dhuum loss. I too just tried to set it up again and am getting the not recognizing Hamnet quest now as well. For the troubleshooting, I do have the quest still.

This bot just staying first at elemental, then go to 2 moobs (from farmer hamnet quest) and pull to monk and kill(without using skills) but, i would like to have warrior whos kill this elemental and use skills. ( sorry for my english )
